“Lovely place, would definitely stay again.”

Located in a quiet, green and nice neighbourhood. The property is run by Gayatri who’s a friendly and chatty host. They had a water dispenser! And so many books. On the whole a lovely place.

One week business trip: 5 min. walking to conference venue BMICH (opposite: supermarket). My balcony room facing front (balcony access via shared dining room/kitchen, or just through opened window). For added privacy, just keep left curtain closed. Bright, clean room, bed with mosquito netting (largely decorative: both sockets supplied with insecticide vaporizers [transfluthrin]: using ~2 hrs/day should suffice). Air conditioner and ceiling fan -- using only the latter helped adjust to outside heat. Lovely, communicative host family and staff, breakfast in their quarters: fresh diced fruit, tomato & onion omelette, toast, butter, jam, milk tea (the more adventurously inclined might opt for local [spicy] offering - for me, amply supplied at conference catering). Clean bath with shower (right control for both water flow and temperature). Small refrigerator and tea kettle in room, fully equiped kitchen and dispenser for cooled drinking water on same floor. Safe location in gated community (manned barrier closing for the night).

Our room was clean and staff pleasant. Our only inconvenience was that we couldn't connect to the internet from our room and had to go to the dining area to do any internet related things.

“Perfect home stay in Colombo”

The location in a very quiet neighborhood, the room was big and very nicely decorated and the bathroom perfect Goog breakfast and friendly atmosphere.

“Attractive homestay”

Attractive, house in a quiet leafy side road away from the traffic. A big comfortable bed. Homely communal spaces, where you can prepare and eat food, and filtered water provided. Host shared practical advice and recommendations for lovely restaurants, etc.

“Lovely stay, highly recommend”

- Great location in an affluent very safe neighbourhood. Easy to tuktuk into the city centre in 15-20 mins for around 400/500 rupees. - Clean property and the bedroom and bathroom were both very comfortable. Also the best shower we’ve had in our 4 weeks in Sri Lanka. - Breakfast was good and we did our washing there for a reasonable price (1500 rupees).

The property is very nice in a quite area but not far away from centre. The owner is very friendly at the end we decided to book again for when we arrive back in colombo for our last night!

Really enjoyed our stay. It is a great place to unwind after your trip through Sri Lanka. The room is clean and we had the best night in the comfortable bed. Location is outside the city centre, but it’s located in a very nice and quiet neighbourhood.

It feels like a home, I loved the room with the books and the living room was also very nice. The room I had was very comfortable and cute. Everything was clean and tidy, also plus for great water pressure. Quiet neighborhood which is gated at night time so felt very safe. Location is great for exploring Colombo. I liked it so much I came back and stayed again! Would highly recommend. Gayathri is also super kind and we had some nice chats 💛
