It's actually in a very quiet environment compared to other places nearby. I loved the experience.

Breakfast was ample and we were asked what eggs we wanted. The host was very helpful and answered all our questions and booked a driver and car for us making life a little easier.

I went for cricket , the hotel was better than England played , so I wasn’t in right frame of mind , only to say the host was an absolute gentleman, helped booked me cabs etc etc , a real nice man and he was kind enough not to mention the cricket score

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the "Breeze of Paradise",which benefits from the dedication of Suresh and his wife. We stayed for 4 nights and every morning Suresh presented us with a freshly prepared delicious Sri Lankan breakfast introducing us to new dishes and tastes. Alternately you cab select a full European breakfast. The area we were in is absolutely silent at night, no parties, road noise., dogs barking or roosters crowing. Not bad for a huge city like Colombo. The Breeze is in a residential area outside the city centre but is only a 30 minutes ride by a 400 rupees tuk tuk ride away from the city centre and attractions like Galle Face, Dutch Hospital and markets etc. Our room's quiet and effective air conditioning was a blessing in Colombo's humid heat. We loved the Breeze's lovely gardens which featured many plants we were nit familiar with. The Breeze is located in a.safe area, On more that one occasion we walked to a local supermarket at about 9..00 pm and encountered no stray dogs or threatening people. We never felt uncomfortable at any time

What made the experience truly special was Mr. Suresh, the owner—he was extremely sweet, kind, and always eager to help. He also guided us on how we could travel to Mirissa in the most convenient and budget-friendly way. A perfect blend of comfort, warmth, and charm—I would wholeheartedly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Colombo.

The whole property is tidy and clean, well maintained, beautifully decorated. The owner and staff are friendly and very helpful. The whole property has an aura of peace, serene and calm. I couldn't resist the temptation to sit and sketch in the peaceful and beautiful gardens with so many variety of plants and flowers.

Suresh is an excellent host.The very reasonably priced air-conditioned rooms are in a big bungalow, which is located a little bit far away from the center of Colombo, but that adds to its attraction as it is away from the hustle bustle of this busy city.We had dinner at a very good price.The breakfast,too was lovely. There is a bakery and a supermarket at a walking distance. What more could anyone want? Highly recommended!

First, I loved the name!!!! ... Breeze of Paradise! Then I liked the fact that it stood up to it's name. Suresh and Kala were so helpful and interesting, and the breakfast and standard of cleanliness was superb. The garden is delightful. It is a bit far away from centre, but a breeze of paradise when you arrive.

I like the human touch of the owners who look after the property and attending to the guest with such warmth that one feels at home. The place is very secure since the owners live in a separate house in the compound.
