This was our second time staying, this time staying in the cottage. We explored a whole different part of the property. It met all our expectations. Weather was on our side.

Loved our stay - the spectacular views, the peacefulness, great range of walks to test my fitness, the cosy little cottage and the lovely old dog who came to visit.

The property was in great location. Tidy and the hosts were nice, warm & welcoming. Lots to explore.. I requested a farm experience for my 5 year old which was great.. Did some mountain biking, hiking and relaxed on the beach.. Overall it was a great stay.

Stunning location, authentic friendly hosts, a traditional kiwi bach feel but well appointed and with everything we needed. We appreciated being able to bring our dog, too.

Amazing location with beautiful scenery, geology, and beaches with (almost) no one else but the sheep and cattle! A truly unique experience.

Everything. The chalet was quaint, warm and cosy. Excellent seaview, well equipped kitchen, including bathsalts & candles, fresh flowers. Friendly helpful owners of property. Ability to roam an incredible property & beaches. Loved it, definitely stay again.

Magical place. Great accommodation with everything we needed. Good to have the extra "drinks" fridge. Nice to have the extra indoor and outdoor spaces in the cottage. We enjoyed the upgraded path to the cave past the airstrip, made it much easier for access for our older guests. Caught a snapper for dinner off Gilberts beach. Great maps and trail descriptions, we just needed more time to do more exploring!!!!

Loved the farm cottage and the beautiful surroundings and hills. Was so comfortable and everything you needed was there. Loved walking over the farm and playing cards infront of the fire. Absolutely beautiful place to visit.
