Daniel was very friendly and welcoming..along with Ata, his dog. Both the room and the view from the deck were delightful. The deck and garden area were private and warm. Plenty of sun. We had everything we needed. Bathroom was of a good size. An easy 3 minute walk to shops [there aren't many!] public laundry and pub. Everything you could want for a short stay.

It was cosy comfortable and convenient . Loved the comfortable sitting chair and footstool, the deck and view into the attractive garden. Although adjacent to another suite and owner’s house, it was very quiet - hardly heard neighbours. Loved easy access to everything in Collingwood. Appreciated extra touches like the filter water jug - and a bottle of spring water in the fridge - and- real ground coffee!!

The room was lovely, very close to the water and the township. Daniel, the host, was very friendly and welcoming, as was little Ata, their dog. Beautiful backyard deck to sit on and there were lots of books available to read. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The bed was very comfortable. I liked how the studio was thoughtfully decorated. Nice little touches like a wee vase of flowers, good quality soap and shampoo etc. Nice cutlery and plates etc - very stylish. I felt at home. I especially loved the night light in the bathroom - no need for overhead light and fan noise for night time visits. Lovely outdoor deck. Daniel was a very friendly host.

We loved the garden area to sit out at breakfast or early evening. It was lovely and clean, close to the beach and village centre.

“Great base to explore Golden Bay!”

Lovely place for a short or longer stay in Collingwood, right in the town centre. The room is in the back part of a private residence, so the host is always in reach and happy to help; but it has its own access (shared with a separate room). The Sunrise Suite was quiet, spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed during our two-night stay. The windows open onto a private deck that gets all the morning sun, so the name of the room is definitely appropriate! We would (and are already considering) coming back.

Excellent location. You can see the bay from the hut. Very nice guy who owns the apratments. The beach and the cost along the Golden Bay is just incredible. Perfect place to rest and spend some time on the sea side.

Lovely 2 night stay in a self contained site with lovely garden outlook and great breakfast spot close to the beach and all Collingwood amenities. Friendly host and everything we needed.
