Cozy hideaway with superbe coastal views

Duan and Elizabeth Ao Maramar is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. Elizabeth and Duan bent over backwards to make our stay perfect even giving us snapper that Duan caught for our dinner one night. The tiny house is totally self contained with a fantastic cooker and kitchen set up. The bed is super comfy and there is a great sitting area. There are an abundance of areas to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings of the bush with fabulous views - even from bed - of beautiful Golden Bay. There is a fantastic short bush walk down to the beach which stretches for miles. Total paradise!!! Can’t wait to come back.

There was nothing that didn't delight. The location and setting with a spacious well stock home was simplely lovely and charming.

The place was amazing, great location, Stella view, the tiny home was clean and new and had everything we needed. The owner came and said hi and was really friendly. Over all absolutely loved the place it was so cool, can't wait to go back 😀

“Peace in the bush”

We stayed in the cottage for 2 nights which was very comfortable, the owner was fantastic and helped us access the beach to fish(no luck but fun). Beautiful bush setting with fantastic views over the ocean. Both the sunset and sunrise were amazing. Great location if spending a day on farewell spit. Would highly recommend

Absolutely beautiful spot with views over the Ocean, a path through the bush down to the beach with a kayak you can borrow. We were in a brand new cabin with a fully fitted kitchen, pristinely clean. Lovely hosts. Everywhere has thoughtful and beautifying touches. Collected and filtered rain water- so have to mindful of use and Wifi only in one spot on the site, for an eco type place, this is happily tolerated.

Room with ensuite worked so well for us, bedlinen was 100% quality, very cosy bed and small fridge so handy for morning cuppa. Shared kitchen very social for chats with tourists if you wish, or a quiet space to read.
