Our stay at Agriturismo Le Cerque in Umbria, Italy, from October 15th to 20th, 2024, was nothing short of magical. This hidden gem nestled in the heart of the Italian countryside exceeded all our expectations and provided us with an unforgettable experience . From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in warmth and hospitality. Our host, Damiano, was the epitome of Italian charm and graciousness. His extensive knowledge of the area and genuine passion for ensuring his guests had the best possible experience was truly remarkable. Damiano went above and beyond, offering countless recommendations for local eateries and must-visit attractions, even taking the time to make reservations on our behalf . Personalized Attention What truly set our stay apart was the personal touch Damiano brought to every aspect of our visit. Learning it was our 10th wedding anniversary, he took it upon himself to organize a special celebratory meal, complete with a delightful surprise cake. It's these thoughtful gestures that transformed our stay from merely pleasant to absolutely extraordinary . Regina, the housekeeper, was equally delightful. Despite our late arrival and departure, she made us feel completely at ease and welcome. Her warm presence contributed significantly to the overall feeling that we were not just guests, but cherished friends welcomed into a home . A Home Away From Home Even as the hotel filled up after our second day, the intimate and personal atmosphere never wavered. We continued to feel like valued members of the household, a testament to the exceptional hospitality skills of both Damiano and Regina . Breathtaking Surroundings While the service alone would be enough to warrant a glowing review, the physical beauty of Agriturismo Le Cerque and its surroundings cannot be overstated. The house itself is a stunning example of traditional Italian architecture, lovingly maintained and exuding charm from every corner. The surrounding landscape is a picture-perfect.

“The most peaceful and happy place”

The accommodation was incredibly clean, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. The fridge by the pool was stocked with water, and towels were readily available. Every morning, Regina lovingly brought breakfast to the table. My original plan was to explore the surrounding cities in Umbria, but I ended up spending a lot of time at the accommodation, watching sunsets by the peaceful pool, going for walks, and enjoying the serenity. It made me so happy. The degustazione with Damiano is a must-do experience, whether you're a wine lover or even if you don’t know much about wine. I highly recommend it. It was an accommodation like a scene from a movie, situated on a beautiful hill in a truly peaceful location. I booked the place for a quiet 3-day rest after a tiring business trip, and it exceeded my expectations. It provided me with an unforgettable, relaxing time.

“A lovely few days relaxing in a beautiful property in beautiful Umbria!”

The property is stunning, in a secluded part of the Umbrian countryside with amazing views. The pool and pool area were perfect for relaxing, so peaceful and tranquil. Damiano was a very attentive host - he arranged wine tasting and a cooking class for us at the property, had lots of recommendations and arranged local dinner reservations for us. Special mention to Regina who was also wonderful!

Warning: this is going to be a long review. We were a party of 9 people and had a complex room configuration and different arrival dates. Damiano accommodated all of our needs. He understood our preference and always gave us excellent local restaurant recommendations. He also helped us make reservations sometime on a very short notice with specific requirements like patio sitting. Damiano knew the history of the region and nearby attractions for us to visit. He even took my Chinese-only speaking aunt to 3 different bakeries to buy a birthday cake for my husband, all with genuine will to help. Damiano's staff Regina was also very sweet and knowledgeable. She spoke 4 languages fluently. She even spoke a few Chinese words to make my aunt feel welcome. Serving freshly made breakfast and coffee for nigh people at the same time was not easy but she always made sure everyone's needs were taken care of. We also enjoyed talking politics and people's lives with her. Oh, and I haven't even talked about how beautiful the property is and how educational the wine tasting was, which you can read from other people's reviews. Lastly when my aunt missed her bus stop in Florence and ended up in Bologna on our last day, Damiano went out of his way and tried to help my aunt. He stopped his busy work at the farm house and made multiple phone calls to make arrangement for my aunt. He even offered to pick her up from Bologna. We felt that Damiano genuinely cared for his guests. I can not say enough of thanks. When we come back to Umbria we will definitely stay at Le Cerque!

“Fantastic six days in LeCerque”

Agriturismo LeCerque is on superb location, on the hill, surrounded with vineyards and olive oil trees. The house is wonderful, old, but stylish renovated, with lot of beautiful carpets from all around the world. Mr. Damiano is a great host, with a lot of knowledge - I highly recommend to have a wine testing with some food in his special basement, because it's perfect. They also serve very good breakfasts in the yard with lot of fruits, biscuits, prosciutto, cheese and fresh juice. And of course I have to mention the pool on the top of the hill with exceptional views all over the surroundings.

Damiano is an incredible person. He has created a beautiful place. I cannot recommend it enough.
