“Dream villa in beautiful lake Como!”

WOW WOW WOW, this villa is absolutely beautiful! 3 floors each having their own little apartment so bigger families can have their own privacy and more importantly own fridge! The ground floor with the pool area is perfect for indoor outdoor dining, enjoying time in the sun and the kids LOVED the pool! The location in Colico is something very special! The house is a 5 minute walk to the front where there are plenty of restaurants, ice cream shops and a big park for the kids! Bike hire, boat hire etc are all down at the front too! Claudia the host is just the best! Communication was great and anything we messaged about was sorted without any hassle! Perfect host! Cotbed on request was also ideal for younger children staying! Overall 10/10 I cannot fault!

The property was superb. We went as a family of ten ages 8-72 and there was plenty of space for us all. Each family taking up one floor. The pool was a delightful escape from the heat of Colico and with plenty of sun beds for us to use. Location wise it’s on a hill with a five minute walk down to the town which was perfect for us, especially when we had time to stop off at the bakery/cafe on route! We explored the local landscape walking to a forte and enjoying days on lake Como wind surfing and swimming. There is also a ferry that will take you across all the various towns on the lake of which we visit Varenna, Bellagio and Como. The local bus is also easily accessible and very affordable. We enjoyed paddle at the local tennis centre and there was plenty of opportunity to stay active if you wished to. A perfect spot to enjoy Lake Como and its surroundings

Excellent property in a great location. Very spacious rooms, ideal for a family or group holiday. Plenty of restaurants nearby and only a 10 minute walk to the train station and an even shorter walk to the Ferry port for travelling around Lake Como. Host was extremely helpful and quick to respond to anything we asked, including recommendations for restaurants/things to do. Lots of parking at the property and would highly recommend hiring a car for the stunning drive to St Moritz which only takes around 90 minutes.

The villa was very beautiful and clean, and we felt very comfortable during our stay. The view was stunning, and I absolutely loved the area. The host was also incredibly helpful!

We had a truly wonderful 4-day stay at Claudia’s Villa Family in Colico. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and exceptionally well taken care of. The cleanliness of the villa was outstanding, and its location—tucked in the peaceful town of Colico—offered just the right mix of quiet relaxation and easy access to nearby attractions. The pool, though a bit cool, gave us the perfect excuse to soak up the sun and enjoy some refreshing downtime. What made our stay truly special were the personal touches from Claudia herself. She is a warm and thoughtful host, always available and generous with her time. The little gifts she left for the kids—especially the biscuits and pizza treats—were such a lovely surprise and added a personal charm to our stay. Colico is a hidden gem—calm, scenic, and a perfect base to explore the surrounding beauty of Lake Como and beyond. We left feeling rested, grateful, and already talking about coming back. Grazie mille, Claudia, for such a beautiful experience!

Claudia the host was extremely flexible. There were keys in a key safe and she met us to ensure we had everything we needed. The views from the middle and top floor of the villa are fantastic, you are surrounded by mountains and can see the lake. It is a short walk to the town, the lake ferry and the train. 9 of us in the villa, we spent time by the pool, on the lake and train to the mountains, day in Milan and Monza.

Dear Claudia, Thank you very much for your hospitality and your efforts to let us enjoy nice and relaxing holidays at the Villa Family in Colico. The accommodation is clean, functionally equipped and Claudia is very concerned about the welfare of her guests. She responds very quickly to requests and is extremely helpful. She is always happy to help with tips and recommendations. The handover and acceptance of the vacation home took place without any problems and at the scheduled time. The location is close to the center but quiet, the piazza can be reached comfortably in 5 minutes on foot. We were able to spend very nice, relaxing vacations in Villa Family in Colico and can highly recommend the property. Thank you for everything Claudia
