Overview
Set on the banks of the River Adda, Borgo Erbiola is inside the Pian di Spagna Nature Reserve, just a few steps from Lake Como. It is composed of a group of historic stone buildings. Every apartment has a traditional country design with wood-beamed ceilings and parquet floors. Offering beautiful views of Monte Legnone and the mountains of the Valtelline Valley, they come with a balcony. Each one has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, kettle and toaster. At Borgo Erbiola the swimming pool is open from April until October. There is a shared washing machine and dryer and free parking is provided. Wi-Fi is also available completely free of charge. The property is 2 km outside Colico and offers discounts at a horse riding school 200 metres away. In the surrounding area you will find cycle paths and a centre of kite surfing and wind surfing.

“Amazing stay”
The location is the most beautiful thing. I would love to come back one time in summer. It's a quiet location surrounded by mountains. The staff is very lovely. We did not have any complaints with them. Everything is well taken care of. The apartment was super clean and with everything needed for cooking and cleaning. The view from the room was also amazing.

“A quiet gem tucked away.”
Paolo and his wife were very welcoming. The house itself was well equipped with modern appliances and easy to find. There was ample of parking space available and the pool looked amazing. There shared washing machine and dryer were top notch Miele products. I had meetings until noon and we were allowed to check out later at no extra cost. Great for walking by the stream at the back. I highly recommend this place.

“Ideal holiday home”
Perfect ‘home away from home’. Lovely and friendly staff, beautiful (and beyond basic) amenities. It felt like such a perfect find. We stayed for a week with our two boys, who loved the pool.

“Great stay , beautiful location, wonderful people”
Location is amazing if you are looking for a quiet experience . Mountains and beautiful green landscape make it wonderful. Nearest town is about 2.2 kms away. Lake Como is accessible via a 25 min walk ( the road is fine ) or by car a few minutes away. The hosts were super nice and accommodating. All facilities are there to cook by self. There were also coffee machine and pods Evelyn our host was very friendly and helpful.

“Beautiful stay with mountain view close to the lake”
I absolutely loved the stay. As a solo traveller I found exactly what I was looking for: a beautiful stay in the mountains with great view and swimming pool. The wifi worked well and allowed to work from there. The owner shared with me the closest path to get to the city for groceries since I was not travelling by car and it all worked out great. Bring any-mosquito spray :)
