We received a very warm welcome from Phumlani. He was super friendly. Thank you Phumlani for the hospitality you showed towards us, you were a star! The unit was clean and cosy. Eosh we could stay longer.

The location is good, the night manager was super friendly and helpful. However the room was below average (more like 1 star - very basic) and we slept on top of the bedding as we noticed that the bed sheets were not clean :(

“Warm and friendly”
Phulani (I think thats his name) was awesome. We arrived 20h00. We ordered burgers and he made the burgers fresh - it was delicious. He then took us to our room where he had already switched on the gas heater as well as the electric blankets. We left early (5h00) the next morning but it was a very pleasant stay.

“Perfect Spot En Route to Cape Town”
Perfect little spot en Route to Cape Town for a good meal sleep and shower.. Clean cosy warm comfy. Perfect on a cold Autumn Night.. Thanks to the Gentleman who cooked for us...checked us in and made us feel at home.. and making sure we were warm enough with the heater you brought to our room.. your hospitality goes a long way. Oh and your coffee the next morning spot on.. Bless you.. 🙌

“Rustic Rock Cabin for relaxing in nature.”
We love the seclusion of Rock Cabin. The views of the shallow gorge, fields, trees and nature from the patio are wonderful. Great walks along the lip of the gorge. Great bed, bedding, even an electric blanket, and hot shower. Fluffy towels and soap provided. Small fridge and microwave. Rustic and rough around the edges but we found it perfect.

Clean, modern. Perfect requirements for a stop over. Grounds are big, pool looked great and playground for the kids. Pity it was raining. Love the little private area for dogs and a barn fire / braai. Staff were friendly and accommodating
