Warm welcome on arrival. Excellent location for an overnight stay after a day exploring in Addo; Spar right next door for supplies and the room was well equipped for basic food preparation. And access to the Sundays River for a walk to stretch your legs after travelling

The breakfast was great and the apartment was very spacious and comfortable. The bed was really comfortable and the bedding lovely. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The beds were comfortable and warm, there was plenty of hot water and the water pressure was good, the property was neat and clean, and the hostesses were welcoming and helpful. The onsite generator kicked in when a thunderstorm took out the power and we never even noticed! Breakfast was tasty and the servings more than adequate. Very nice coffee too. The position on the river is perfect for a stroll. I would definitely stay here again, and have no problem recommending it to other travellers.

The young lady doing the check-in put so much effort into making this place truly like a home far away from home. I loved the warm heated hospitality, the pool after an exciting day in nearby Ado Elephant Park, the delicious breakfast and the beautiful sunset at the river just behind my perfect place to stay 🤗

Very friendly personnel. Extremely comfortable beds! Handy short stay if you visit Addo Elephant Park. The restaurant at walking distance has good food and drinks

Comfy and huge bed, lovely staff and 8 min from Addo South Gate. The breakfast was really good with fresh fruit salad, muesli, yoghurt, your choice of eggs and toast. The room was cleaned every day, the aircon was good and it's quiet during day and night despite the proximity to the N2 and the petrol station around the corner. We would stay there again.

Love the hostes!

We stayed at Sundune Guest House mainly because we needed a place quickly. The host was very kind and attentive, which we really appreciated. The room itself was clean and generally comfortable, but unfortunately there were many dead mosquitoes everywhere, and we also had quite a few live ones — we spent most of the evening trying to get rid of them. A mosquito net would make a big difference. The location is a bit close to the main road, so it can be noisy if the window is open. Also, the pool is not on the property itself, but a few houses away. Overall fine for a short stop, but there is room for improvement.

Jade went out of her way to make our stay comfortable.

The hotel is located close to the river and the breakfast room overlooks it. The host is very helpful and the staff at breakfast are very kind. Breakfast is excellent. The room is very spacious and comfortable.

Absolutely lovely host! Vanessa was so kind and welcoming, even prepped us lunch boxes when we had to go to the airport early. Very close to Addo and one of the restaurants in walking distance. Interior a bit dated, but all very clean and comfy beds! There is some noise coming from the big road, but it was ok when all windows and doors were closed. Would come again!
