“Comfortable and well-located place for exploring Addo Elephant Park”

We stayed at ParkView Safari Lodge in Colchester and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The property is ideally located near the southern entrance of Addo Elephant Park, making it a perfect base for safari trips. We had a spacious lodge with plenty of room, and the whole place felt calm and relaxing. It was very quiet, and we felt completely comfortable throughout our stay. The main building with the pool is also great, especially for families and children. We could easily have stayed longer, as we truly enjoyed the atmosphere and felt very much at home. Overall, a great place to stay for an Addo safari – comfortable, well located, and warmly welcoming.

Very friendly and warm welcome! Great location! We slept in the very comfortable tents. Very close to Addo Elephant park (1 km). They recommended us the Scotia Safari Private game Reserve. It was more than worth it!

“A must-have for a family with kids, five minutes away from the Addo Park!”

We came for a short week, hoping to safari into Addo, but only with the lodge booked, and without a car of our own (we arrived with a Uber from the airport, and did'nt plan anything around, wich was not really clever). Luckily, we had the pleasure to be taken care of by Inge, who quickly found us a ranger for a whole day tour in the Addo National Park, then a boat trip along the river (the birds! The sandsledging over the dunes!)... And all of that while adapting to our kids (small of age, unplanned nap, etc.), at a fair price. The lodge was very nice and family-friendly, with the opportunity to meet some animals on the way to the tents... wich were cosy! the cooking was good, with some restaurant around. Finally, the lodge is 5 minutes away by car to Addo Park's south gate.

Great idea with the tents - you had a direct view into the greenery. The location is amazing - just a 2 minute drive to the south gate of the national park

We were welcomed by Inge who, together with her team, made our stay a truly memorable experience! She also arranged the safari trips to Schotia and Addo Park which were both amazing. We will definitely come back some time

Very Peaceful and calm. Beautiful site with nice Pool and Deers grazing in the Park. Very helpful and gentle Staff. I felt very welcome, not just as a customer. Nice and great Breakfast at the Poolsite. The Tents are really what I was looking for. African Glamping in the Bushes. Luxurios and spacy Tents with complete privacy and a big terrasse. I had the perfect „Out of Africa“ Feeling…just beautiful.

Everything was perfect , the tent was clean and neat with beautiful surroundings being soo close to nature . The staff which where excellent when it came to service to the room from the cleaners to the guys who bring wood , to the lady that works at the front , absolutely awesome accommodation: the food too was great !!

The staff was super nice, our tent provided us with the special safari feeling and the beds are very comfortable! Sitting on the terrace under the moon light with a glass of wine, listening to the crickets was amazing!
