Everything about our stay was great. Peaceful, close to Addo Elephant Park, staff were fabulous and the room was very comfortable

everything, the property and location itself is absolutely gorgeous, the authenticity of local culture is represented very well, very calm and relaxing place, stuff is very kind, helpful and thoughtful, pub and small cafe is 1 min away, as well as nice restaurant and grocery shop is in 5 min distance. bed specifically was extremely comfortable

The location, the facilities. The staff were absolutely wonderful and always happy to help. I had messaged ahead as it was my partners birthday and they sang Happy birthday to him at breakfast ☺️. They also put on a special Valenti nes breakfast.

“Close to Addo, but the lodge is a bit old”

The location is great if you are visiting Addo National Park, it's very close to the South Gate. We appreciated the terrace with the river view where we had nice breakfast every day.

We loved this eclectic place. The location is ideal, amazing views over the river, the staff could not do enough to help and the breakfasts were amazing (the smell of backing bread got you up early every day).

“Hidden gem”

We only stayed for 1 night in passing but I'd happily come back again for longer. It's a hidden gem overlooking the Sundays River with super passionate hosts: they know the area well, are knowledgeable about the landscape, and have great recommendations. The rooms are lovely, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, too.

The view to the river was amazing. The lodge ist next to the Addo park. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.

The location is great, really suggest to go and see the sunset at the dunes! We had a great bbq and the room is exactly as shown in the pictures!

Amazing location and everyone was super friendly and accommodating

We had a lovely and cosy stay near the bank of the Sunday River, with private access to the riverfront. The delicious breakfast was a great start to our day, and the good option of river cruise kept everyone entertained. We enjoyed our stay with the family, and the kids had a wonderful time too!
