Domo Carpe Diem Patagonia: A Unique and Memorable Stay My wife and I stayed at Domo Carpe Diem Patagonia for three nights, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The location is truly special—set in a wild and peaceful spot between rolling hills, offering a genuine sense of Patagonia’s raw beauty, yet still close enough to Coyhaique for provisions and dining when needed. It strikes a perfect balance between remoteness and convenience. The dome itself is very well designed, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. The interior feels both cozy and functional, making it easy to relax and unwind. You can choose between using the air conditioning or enjoying the warmth of the fireplace, with wood generously provided—something we particularly appreciated. The balcony was one of our favourite features, with sweeping views over the valleys and endless Patagonian skies. It’s a place that gently invites you to slow down—sitting quietly with your favourite drink in hand, watching the light shift across the landscape as the sky unfolds above you. Time seems to stretch here, making it especially magical for nature lovers and photographers alike. In many ways, the spirit of Carpe Diem—seizing the day—is truly felt here. It’s in the quiet mornings, the golden evening light, and the simple joy of being fully present in such an extraordinary place. A special mention goes to Roxana, the owner, who is an exceptional host. She is attentive, kind, and very accommodating, always ensuring guests feel welcome and well looked after. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to return one day. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a unique and peaceful Patagonian experience.

“Quiet Country Feel 10 Min from Town”

The dome, the facilities, and the hosts were all fantastic. We really enjoyed our 2 day stay and would recommend for sure. We were able to use the wood fired bbq to grill our steaks and have an incredible meal. The kitchen is small but adequately stocked. The loft bed was comfortable and quiet. The room had AC and the location had an incredible view. Quiet country feel 10 minutes from town. The hosts dog and cat came to greet us both mornings. They knew to stay outside and offered a friendly hello. Overall an excellent stay.

We traveled 15,000 km to explore Chile and Patagonia. The cottage surprised us with its atmosphere and décor 😍, which allowed us to relax. The hosts were incredibly warm and helpful. They were simply amazing. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to everyone 😍

This place is unbelievable beautiful! The location is perfect, not in city centre but close enough only 8 min drive. The dome is so cute outside! And inside has everything what you need + nice decor. We loveeeee ittt!!! Check in it was super easy and Roxana is always available for anything that you need. Great host!

Definitely the most amazing and special place we stayed at in all of Patagonia ❤️ Our whole stay was wonderful from start to finish! The hosts were so incredibly welcoming and friendly and always available when we needed anything! The Domo itself is spectacular, it has been thoughtfully decorated and has everything you could need! Fully equipped kitchen where we made dinner every night, modern bathroom and comfortable and cosy bed upstairs! The fire heats up the entire home and makes for a very romantic stay! The view also was something truly unique! We only wished we could have stayed longer but we will definitely be back!

“A dream place!”

We have visited many places around the world, and this has by far been our best experience. A charming place, with beautiful landscapes everywhere. The dome we live in has a wonderful view, and the owners, Roxana and Cesar, are magnificent, very friendly and always attentive to everything. Walking up the mountain you come to a kind of enchanted garden, completely natural. A dream place. If you have the opportunity, do yourself a favor and enjoy such a peaceful place, excellent for meditating, reading, and relaxing while enjoying the animals and nature. It is a place that remains in memory forever.
