It was comfortable but washing left in dryer on arrival very dusty veranda was full of weeds and all out door mats were wet and slippery even going up to spa blinds shutters needed a dust with the fake plants in unit I started for five days and 5 sachet of coffee were left

“Beautiful apartment with spa and sun deck”

Beautiful comfortable apartment within the pacific Bay resort but privately owned. Lovely grounds and access to pool. Only a few minutes drive into Coffs. The sun deck is huge and spa bath well maintained.

I’ve tried resolving these issues directly with the property, but they have directed everything back to Booking.com. Below is a clear account of what happened and why I am requesting a full refund. 1. Arrival issues & key confusion – We were not told how many keys existed. – Only one key was in te lockbox, so we assumed that was the only key. – When we entered, a second key had been left sitting on the bench with no explanation. – One of my children picked this second key up and went out with my partner. Because we didn’t know there were two keys, I panicked thinking they were stuck downstairs with no way back up and no way to contact me. – This was extremely stressful and completely avoidable with proper instructions. 2. Unsafe staircase and no lighting information – The staircase leading to the spa is steep and unsafe, especially when wet. – We were not told about the separate light switch for the stairs. – Because check-in was at 3pm and it was already getting dark, we had to climb up and down the staircase in low light with wet feet and children. This was dangerous. 3. Spa issues (major health and safety risk) – When we first used the spa, the water changed colour with the different lights, and we noticed brown floating debris in the water. – It was clearly unclean. – I accidentally swallowed some of the water while holding my son and became unwell later that night with diarrhoea. – The next morning, the spa technician was sent out. – He knocked on the door without warning, walked in, went upstairs, and after about 10 minutes said he needed to get a pump. – He returned and spent around 1.5–2 hours pumping out the spa. – When he finished, he commented: “It doesn’t look like a grotty bath anymore.” – This confirms the spa was not clean or safe at check-in. – On top of that, the sign in the apartment said the spa is cleaned every Thursday — our only full day there — which meant our day was interrupted and the spa was unusable anyway. 4.

Great location. The resort has a lot of facilities, it's on the beach, really like the onsite restaurant and bar. The penthouse has everything we needed. Amazing view and the rooftop terrace with spa was perfect.

Beautiful place to stay, very nicely decorated. Beds were very comfortable. Penthouse had everything we needed. We absolutely loved having our very own rooftop garden complete with Spa and BBQ area. Views and facilities were outstanding. Would highly recommend 😊

Our stay in Coffs Harbour was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and hospitality. The property was spotless and beautifully appointed, with every detail thoughtfully considered to ensure our comfort. The views were breathtaking, and the location was ideal – close to both the beach and local attractions, yet peaceful and relaxing. The outdoor area was a highlight for us, perfect for enjoying the coastal breeze with a cup of coffee in the morning or a cocktail in the evening. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, offering great tips for local dining and activities.

The roof and balcony were amazing to see the sunrises and sunsets. The jacuzzi and rooftop were very private and there were many resort facilities we were able to access that we didn’t expect. Such as breakfast, dinner, tennis and basketball courts, pools and a golf course.

Well facilitated kitchen with lots of cooking utensils and extra dishwashing liquid cloths etc. spa was amazing having your own private space you cannot beat that.
