Located just a few 100 yards away from the enormous sandy Park beach this small motel was a delightfully place to stay in. The jetty area was a few minutes drive away and it was a good location for visiting Muttonbird island and the botanic gardens. Although our room was quite small it had a double bed, flat screen TV, fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave and cutlery and crockery together with wardrobe space, hairdryer, iron and ironing board and a small couch., There was a small table on which to have breakfast. The bathroom with a shower and toilet and wash basin was also small but worked well. The pool area was absolutely delightful and was a good size with sun loungers, a barbeque area and a table and chairs if you wanted to use them. We liked this place and in particular we appreciated the warm helpful welcome from Michaela and Steve who managed the property. They provided complimentary milk, advice about the local area, and even some second-hand books for us to read! Nearby there were shops and places to eat although we never quite got our heads around the local geography!
