I believe it would be difficult to fault the accommodation and hospitality Gail and James offer in their apartment. All was as advertised and the extras provided make it a "keeper" for me. I will be back.

Chez Jacques is the perfect home away from home. Gail and James are great host. They had thought of everything to make our stay feel at home. Comfortable bed with top quality bed linen and electric blanket warm your bed up. The kitchen is vey well equipped with everything you need. Very generous breakfast hamper provided with home made mueslie and muffins. Every room is super clean and fresh. The location of the place is close to shopping center and beach. We had wonderful time here and will definitely book again if we are around this area. Thank you Gail and James for allowing us to stay at your beautiful place.

“Boutique Coffs Harbour Stay”

We were travelling from Brisbane to the Hunter Valley, and this 1-bedroom holiday apartment is in a convenient location just a short distance from the Pacific Motorway and a short 4 km drive into Coffs Harbourl! The bedroom had a super comfortable king bed, ensuite bathroom, ceiling fans and air conditioning, and the main kitchen/dining/living room area also has air conditioning. The kitchen was incredibly well-equipped with a fridge freezer, 4 burner electric cooktop, oven, microwave, coffee machine, various other appliances, cookware, crockery, cutlery, and glassware. The kitchen was well-stocked with supplies - coffee, tea, milk, and salt, pepper and condiments and there are even some laundry facilities. There is a small balcony outside the bedroom with access to a shared pool. Gail is a fabulous host – she is extremely friendly and helpful. Our welcome with warm apple cinnamon muffins, a bottle of wine and a breakfast hamper (with homemade muesli, yogurt, bacon, eggs, bread, butter, jam, vegemite, peanut butter, and orange juice) was a lovely surprise. This is old fashioned hospitality at its very best - highly recommended!

Location is great. Nice outlook with easy access to the beach, highway and no stairs!!! Gail and James were lovely, warm, friendly and inviting and could not do enough to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Who does not love a warm muffin on arrival after a hard days travel??

Immaculate presentation and everything you could ask for in a self contained unit! The breakfast provisions were substantial and Gail’s home made toasted muesli was absolutely delicious. It was a nice surprise to find freshly baked muffins on the table when we arrived and the complimentary wine was a lovely touch. The pool looked very inviting but we did not take a dip - maybe next time!

Very well maintained with excellent facilities. Everything is so well organised and easy to find. Breakfast provisions, a bottle of wine, and freshly made muffins were an unexpected and very welcome bonus :)
