The location was fabulous. There is Great Green Macaw nest box near the house and there was a new hatchling in the nest. The parents were frequent visitors. Truly amazing. We had several visits from Howler monkeys and 3 toed sloths. It was good to be able to sit on the balcony and view the wildlife as it rained most of the time we were there The house was well equiped and the beds were comfy. The kitchen was well eqipped and everything was clean. I would definitely go back here.

“If you are in Costa Rica for the wildlife this is a gem of a place.”
We absolutely loved Blue Maverick, it was an exceptional find. The property is at the top of a small hillock with the rainforest all around meaning you are in the canopy. Made from beautiful local wood you are immersed in the birds and wildlife, but raised up above anything unwelcome! Note. The property is difficult to find without the clear instructions from the owners and you most definitely need a 4 wheel drive vehicle for the final ascent to the property.
