Boasting its own vineyards in the heart of picturesque Cochem, this guest house offers cosy rooms and apartments, free parking and excellent wines, just a 10-minute walk from Reichsburg castle. The family-run Weingut Haxel offers spacious double rooms and well-equipped apartments, providing an ideal base for exploring the area and discovering local wines. A rich and varied breakfast buffet is served each morning. In the summer months, guests can sample Weingut Haxel's own Riesling wines, either in the tavern or outside on the leafy courtyard terrace. Guided tours of Cochem's Old Town and the Moselle countryside are run by the winery owner, covering different themes. Wine tastings can also be arranged on request.

“Great stay”
Great location for visiting Cochem, staff really friendly clean comfortable apartment with lots of room. We had breakfast the second day which was a typical European one with plenty of choice. Lovely beer garden and a good range of wines. Parking was at the rear of the property with a locked gate. If in the area would visit again.

Staff is marvelous, very nice people. They are so polite and charming. S2 The room is big and the bed is comfortable. Shower is nice, good temperature and pressure. Location is perfect. The place is very beautiful, very cozy. And having free parking is the best. :)

“Excellent location in a lovely town!”
The best location we've stayed at in Cochem so far. Only a few mins walk from the town, but restaurants around it. Max 10 minute walk to the river and cruises. Very close to the chairlift. Secure parking at the back of the building. Balcony to rear with a table and 4 chairs with a view of the vineyards.
