Dating from the 16th century, this hotel in Cochem features a traditional wine cellar and a river terrace. It overlooks the River Moselle, a 10-minute walk from Cochem Train Station. Rooms at the Hotel Beim Weinbauer offer views of the surrounding vineyards or of historic Cochem. “Fantastic and magic stay at medieval town of Beim Weinbauer at Cochem !”
Great central location - just at river promenade and close to old town and castle. Very helpful staff during supporting us at late check in and problems with parking. Great wine bar downstair very popular at the town. Good breakfast and friendly service.

“Not worthy the price they charge”
After 20 days traveling in Germany, one thing is clear: accommodation in Cochem is expensive, and this hotel is no different. The room has a nice river view, is spacious, and the shower is good. But my kids had to sleep on a noisy sofa bed, and the blackout curtains don’t really block the light. Breakfast is good and served from 8:00 to 10:00, but after 9:00 there are no refills of things like fruit, sausages, or pastries (at least during the three nights I stayed). Not worth the price they charge.

“Good hotel and good location but no elevator/ lift”
The location were very strategic, room very spacious and breakfast also very good. The only inconvenience is there is no lift/ elevator , we stayed at the 3rd floor and little bit difficult with our suitcase. Its not reccomended for older people😉

This was our second time in this small hotel. We like it. It is a beautiful building and the location is the best. We had the bigger room with an amazing view. Two ladys who work there was so nice and friendly. They work hard to keep everyone happy. Really good value for the money.

“Very nice located hotel in the centre of Cochem”
Nice located hotel with beautiful views over the Mosel river. Third visit. Very clean and comfortable room. Breakfast on the roof terrace overlooking the Mosel is brilliant. Staff is working hard to get it all done. Various nice restaurants in the area to have a tasty German dinner. We would have loved to spend more time in the evening to taste the beautiful wines of 'Beim Weingartner' (see below).

Breakfast was good. Good food and nice personel. Nice to be able to have breakfast with Moselview on the balcony. The hotels location was perfect.
