This family-run bed and breakfast hotel is located directly on the Moselle with a view of the Reichsburg castle. It is just a 10-minute walk along the Moselle promenade from the historic old town centre of Cochem. Altes Winzerhaus offers modern non-smoking rooms with a flat-screen TV, noiseless refrigerator, desk and safe. Almost all rooms have a balcony or terrace with a river or mountain view. Each room has its own bathroom with shower, toilet and hairdryer. Free WiFi is available in all areas. The continental breakfast buffet with fully automatic coffee machine is served in the traditional winemaker's room with a covered terrace. In the immediate vicinity of the hotel there is a supermarket, a winery, several winegrowers and restaurants. Popular activities in the area include hiking, cycling, Nordic walking, boat tours and exploring the local vinexards. You can also visit Eltz Castle, (20 km) or the famous Nürburgring (30 km).

Room was nice and clean. The view was blocked partially by the other side of the building, which is no big deal if you don't mind. But Cochem is a nice place and the view is amazing, so that would have been a nice thing to have. Breakfast was to my liking, enough choice, but not too much redundant options. And above all tasted great. The staff is wonderful!

We stayed at this hotel for a few days. It is a perfect hotel for a visit to Cochem: neat, clean, comfortable beds, a spacious room, and a delicious breakfast in the morning where a private pot of coffee is served. And not to forget, very friendly staff.

“Lovely hotel”
Really friendly and helpful staff. And great breakfast - lots of options - and sweet german pastries :) You could park near the hotel for reasonable price. And hotel is of course at a beautiful fairytale-esque location, lying next to the river Mosel. Room was clean and large, especially for the price.

Great location, just a 10 minute walk to the beautiful riverside city center. Surrounded by nice restaurants and close to vineyards and wine spots, it’s a great choice for couples. The breakfast was also delicious!

“Amazing!”
Everything was amazing! I liked that it was so clean and tight! Also, the view from our balcony was lovely. The hotel is in a good location, right next to the supermarket and close to Cochem centre and has a paid parking right next to the hotel. The staff was very kind with us and helped us with everything we needed and also the breakfast was delicious!

Excellent experience, location within walking distance and bus stop across the street. Breakfast was top notch. The hotel management was friendly and helpful far beyond expectations. Four of us, guests are extremely pleased with our stay. Highly recommended!
