“Snug rooms”

Staff helpful and gave our room early, as our bus arrived early. Located close to Plaza Colon, cafes and restaurants. Room was snug, with clean bathroom. Firm bed. Safe and secure hotel. We were there during teachers strikes/ blockades. Breakfast was fresh and tasty.

Didn’t enjoy my stay too much and left early. It’s quite a dated hotel and for the price there are better options in the area. The rooms could do with some work and a better clean. I was in a room right next to the road and it kept me up for a lot of the night.

One frustrating issue was the motion sensor for the hallway light. Since there’s a window above the bedroom door, the light would shine into the room whenever it turned on—far from ideal at night. Breakfast was simple, but eggs are made to order however you like. The reception staff were very helpful and always ready to answer questions. The hotel is well-located, with bars and restaurants nearby. Many tourist attractions are within easy reach, either by a short trip or a cheap taxi ride. We stayed here twice.
