“SMELLY SMALL ROOM AND RUDE HOST”

The room smells stinky and the host was rude and irresponsible. I told her the room smelled weird and she said she would send her husband to check, but her husband never came. And we waited till night and the weird smell still resisted and the room is small every corner smells weird. So we checked out at night and found another hotel cos we couldn't endure more. In addition, the host was so rude, she insisted on saying there's no weird smell rudely and accused our complains were for refund. The smelliest room I've ever been in and the WORST host ever.

“very bad and dangerous stay”

The shower shattered on me while I was washing myself. My hands, arms, legs and feet are cut. Had to dig up glass from my body and rush to get bandages, disinfectants and other things needed to close the wounds (still open by the way, and bleeding). We called the owners to ask them for help three times, they didn’t answer. They later sent vocals on WhatsApp about clinics in the surrounding area after sending them a message about what happened. The shower was a hazard, that it put me in danger and that I could have been seriously injured. The next day, they try to impose on me twice during the day but I had already booked tours so invited them over during the evening. The owner was late and instead of apologizing for putting my life in danger with a hazardous glass shower that wasn’t properly fixed, insisted that we pay a 200 dollars fine for « breaking it ». The thing shattered out of nowhere, I didn’t even think it was possible. I do not want to pay for a shower that broke on me and put my life in danger , as I explained. It is not a vase or a glass that I broke nor tapestries that I ruined by accident - which I would reimburse with my eyes closed and conscience clean. It is the kind of thing I can sue him for , for provoking bodily harm installing faulty material. The owner stayed from 20.15 to 21.30 trying to bully my girlfriend and I in paying the shower. I told him I would not, for the reasons explained above, and invited him to go together to the police station In Cochabamba to explain the situation. I told him I would be available in the evening or today at noon to do so. I told him I would pay only if the police said I should after explaining the whole situation to them and seeing what they think. At first he was okay going to the police and we gave each other an appointment at noon for check out , then going together to the police station. He left. It is to be noted that in this period of time I asked him at the end to leave twice and he would not budge.

Clean room and modern bathroom. Good place for a short stay, walking distance to the plaza and also the Christ statue.

I received a counerfit money in change , only found out later trying to exchange it. Very shady place.
