We stayed three nights in well designed, comfortable chalet with breathtaking views of Gocta Falls. We gad a good breakfast on site and ate our other meals in the village, 10 minutes walk away. Goctamarca organises transport to and from Chachapoyas for 260 soles - cheaper alternatives available but convenient.

“Amazing stay in a peaceful atmosphere”

The lodge is really beautiful. You have amazing views and everything is clean and modern. The staff is so warming and caring. They cook amazing lunch and dinner. Breakfast was also one of the best we had in all our accommodations in Peru.

Great view, independent lodge surrounded by beautiful flowers and trees, only thing you can hear are the birds chirping and water running somewhere far away. So peaceful and relaxing. Delicious homemade meals using local ingredients. Very caring and helpful staffs. There was a road construction and some hours were inaccessible by car but it wasn’t troublesome, was easy to adapt our schedule to visit archeological sites. Highly recommended!

Idyllic. This place is paradisiac. No word to describe the feeling to wake up with this wonderful view, and sound of the colibris. The room is super clean, water is hot, bed is really confortable, private terrasse is amazing. I loved the decoration, natural pure atmosphere. The staff is super kind, they offered me to shower and rest after a big hike when i came back in late afternoon while i had check out in the morning. Breakfast and dinner were amazing, fresh home made food. I really wish i could have stayed longer and did not to leave un Thank you again!

“Stunning view and a luxurious lodge”

Stunning views from our lodge in a truly unique setting. The design of the room made the most of the view of the waterfall, being able to see it from the bed in the morning. The food was also delicious with local Peruvian dishes and ingredients. The staff were all very helpful and we also loved the two dogs and one cat!

This property is amazing! Such a beautiful and peaceful area, the accommodation was very comfortable, clean, and luxurious. Breakfast was made to order by an onsite cook. Bathroom was nice and clean, soap is provided. Location is great - right beside the trail leading to the Gocta waterfall. All in all I highly recommend.

The staff was very friendly. The food was delicious. The scenery was stunning, and the bungalow was very comfortable.

This property is a true gem. The room was beautiful, simple, clean, and comfortable, with truly the most incredible view of the Gocta waterfall. It was quiet and peaceful, set apart from other hotels, but within an easy walk to Cocachimba. The food was amazing, and they gave us different options to choose from each day. Watching hummingbirds flit around while drinking coffee and looking out at the waterfall each morning was a highlight of our time in Peru. We have nothing but positive things to say!

You wake up in the middle of a paradise. Very comfortable and spacious lodges with a spectacular view at the waterfall. The staff was very friendly and kind, helping whenever needed. Also the meals prepared for us were super delicious.

The combination of everything being perfect. Comfort, great food, amazing views, cleanliness and hospitality.

Anja was an amazing host. She organised all of our transport and was able to provide advice on day trips to Kuelap and hiking to Gocta falls. Elena made lunch and dinner for us every day - so nice to have a home cooked meal at the end of a long day hiking! The room was a good size and very comfortable, with spectacular views! We loved our stay here - definitely recommended for a peaceful holiday.

Breakfast was fantastic. Goctamarca is located in one of the best areas. The views are beautiful and everyone there is very helpful and friendly.

Location was fantastic! Anya and Andrew were absolutely fantastic - gracious, kind and helpful (getting a Covid test to return to Canada was something!!) Otherwise, just exceptional - food was GREAT!
