Located right on Luaña Beach in the Cantabrian town of Cóbreces, SanMar’s café and restaurant have a terrace overlooking the sea. The rooms have free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. “Spotless hotel with parking in a stunning location with beautiful rooms and friendly staff.”
Hotel SanMar is a little oasis right on the beach, unfortunately for us we couldn't use the outside terrace that came with the room we'd booked as the weather had turned. However, we could still enjoy the hot tub in our room with a view over the beautiful beach and coastline. My other half went for a windy and rainy walk by the sea and had the beach to himself he absolutely loved it. We'd booked SanMar as an overnight stay on our way back to Santander airport from travelling around Asturias and it was perfect for a relaxing end to our holiday. We would love to stay again!

The location is perfect, the room was spacious enough and clean, the breakfast was good for the Spanish standards (includes boiled eggs, fruits, cheese, meats, yogurt, pastries, juice, coffee, bread, spreads).

Loved the sea view room with the huge window. Stayed in May and the restaurant was closed, but the owner drove us up to town to a restaurant. We appreciated this after walking in the rain all day. Had a very large and varied buffet breakfast which was also great. Great value in May.

“It was dreamy and incomprehensible and great to imagine”
A pleasant, calm and safe environment, and you are only 5 steps away from the beach. The breakfast was excellent. The hall was as if they had measured it with a ruler. There was a special order, it was clean, and there were all the things that can be understood as a luxurious breakfast.
