It was fun to have a hammock in our room; the whole set up here is lovely with places to sit and swim and relax; the food is amazing - home style yucatan food that made it hard to eat out at our next location! Hosts are so focused on detailed hospitality yet also give you space to enjoy yourself. Some previous comments made us worry about the location but it’s fine!!; it is nice and quiet at the end of a residential street and we walked (15 min) to the ruins or town easily. Highly recommend!

The staff were extremely nice, helpful and made us feel at home. The rooms were also very clean and it was great hearing the noises of the jungle at night. The breakfast had also very generous portions and they also let us extend our check out time.

“Lovely stay, lovely hosts!”

We loved this stay. We booked two nights - I messed up and booked 2 individual nights in different rooms and they were able to sort this and move us into one. The room was fabulous and spacious and we loved the furnishings. The shower was excellent, we appreciated the pool for cooling off and the ability to get drinks. The host (luis) was so lovely and gave us lots of useful tips. If we were ever back in the area we would stay again.

“Great family hotel with jungle vibes”

We loved this welcoming place! It's located near the ruins on the edge of the Coba and a few minutes driving away from the Cenote. The family room was spacious. The staff is authentic, friendly, and very hospitable. Dinner and breakfast were fantastic; the children loved the pancakes. Coba is a little village with genuine Mexican charm, feeling a world away from the tourist hotspots on the coast.

A serene place on the outskirts of the jungle with spacious rooms having all the necessary amenities and on top of that Luis and his brother were exceptional hosts. We also enjoyed our drinks served by the pool as well as breakfast ( which was plentiful) and a light dinner on our first evening.

It was like camping, but with bed.

“Perfect stay near the Cobá ruins”

We had a fantastic stay at Jungla y Estrellas in Cobá. The room was wonderful, and the hotel was very quiet — perfect for relaxing. The team was super friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel right at home. We really enjoyed both dinner and breakfast at the hotel; the food was excellent. Parking was very convenient, with spaces directly in front of the building. A big highlight was the location: the Cobá Maya ruins are only about a 15-minute walk away, which made exploring them by foot easy and enjoyable. Highly recommended — we would definitely stay here again!

“Jungle experience with a touch of glampin”

It’s really right next to the jungle. So you can hear and occasionally see all kind of animals passing by. The cabins and the swimming pool are really great ! Alfonso and his crew are doing a wonderful job

It was phenomenal. Luis is simply the best host ever. The room is incredible big and all the exotic atmosphere makes your stay unique. The food is so delicious. Best guacamole ever and the Piña colada, OMG. Please let us back again! The pool is spotless. Waking up with jungle noises in your cottage is mind-blowing.

Hector, Luis and Alfredo could not have done any more to make us feel welcome and comfortable here. They are so passionate about the local area and the hotel is a credit to them. The rooms are exactly like the pictures, the kids loved the pool, and the food was delicious.

Adorable staff, jungle vibes with bird noise in the morning, HUGE room very well decorated, great pool Not for you if you dont like bugs, keep in mind you sleep in a room made with wood pieces and bugs are present.

Thanks you for an amazing night in a true paradise. What a lovely place. The whole crew took care of us in such an incredible way. Food was good, beds were comfy and the whole atmosphere was just amazing. We had a room with a privat bathroom but not inside the room. But it was no problem at all. The whole place is very familiar and the bathroom was only a few steps away.
