“Great home from home with friendly, helpful hosts.”

Our hosts were so welcoming and friendly, and were helpful in both planning our trip and providing advice about visiting Yosemite. Our room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The bathroom was lovely and towels and toiletries were nice quality. There is a great outdoor seating area, and it's in a great location. I would only highlight that it is around 50 minutes drive from the Yosemite Park entry and a shared kitchen. Neither of these were an issue for us (Ellen made us so comfortable) but I had missed those details when booking.

So cozy and relaxing to stay here. The hosts are very welcoming and nice. We really enjoyed staying here, and will recommend anyone to choose this place while visiting Yosemite. Thank you so much to the hosts.

It's a very quiet, clean and comfortable place, you can take relax after you took long time driving, similarly stay at home as well. It's valuable house! Ellen & Neil are very friendly and helpful, they introduced all the information around the house. I love it very much!

We absolutely loved our stay here – the house is full of charm and the guest space is 100% private and independent. There’s also a beautiful, spacious terrace where you can relax and enjoy nature – if you are lucky you can even see deers passing by ! The hosts are truly wonderful – discreet and respectful of your privacy, but also incredibly kind and welcoming if you need anything. They gave us amazing tips for Yosemite, which made our trip even more special. We felt right at home from the first minute and honestly, we wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy their lovely company. It’s the perfect place to unwind, reconnect with nature, and feel truly cared for. Highly recommended!

Oak Retreat was a calm oasis with all facilities you would require from views to free run of the kitchen Ellen and Neil were very welcoming. There is even muli channel tv to watch Netflicks.
