I loved everything about the cottage. The calm location, the flowery setup and the absolutely beautifully decorated spacious cottage. The bed was super comfortable and I enjoyed the evening sun on the little terrace. The owner was not around when I arrived and left me the keys in the appartment, allowing for a very easy check in.

Great location, well equipped, great handbook and a lovely authentic New Zealand feeling. Brilliant that we could rent e-bikes at the property to enjoy the great tracks around Hawkes Bay along with some wine tasting.

“Excellent spot for a family stay with kids”

The beds were very comfortable, with a good range of pillow options. We came with two young children and they loved the fairy garden, the crocodile in the pond, feeding the chickens, eating the grapefruit and playing on the tramp. It was comfortable, quiet and a serene environment with enough excitement to keep children amused.

Beautiful private courtyard with surrounding cottages but all screened from each other. Loved the water feature statue- if you ask Tony there is a story behind this.

Adorable little cottage, everything was immaculate. So quiet and restful, beautiful starry sky. From the lovely grounds and fountain courtyard to the chooks pecking through the yard, we loved everything about our stay. Beaches and wineries nearby made for interesting exploring.

The cottage was charming and comfortable, and suitable for a short stay as it is quite small.

The accommodation is extremely comfortable and clean. It is a fabulous peaceful location, lovely to listen to the bird song. The games room and petanque were a big hit. Borrowed bicycles and cycled to a local vineyard. Fabulous area for cycling with miles of flat cycle paths.

Lovely, rural location. A short drive to Napier, Hastings and Havelock North. The unit was very well appointed and comfortable with quality fittings, furnishings, kitchen utensils, etc. Netflix was complimentary.
