“Having stayed here a week we would definitely stay again. It’s a very peaceful, lovely area.”
Christian, the delightful owner, provided an excellent Continental breakfast & his daily fresh fruit salad was superb. The baguette & croissants from a local bakery in Sauveterre-de-Guyenne were really good. The guest kitchen is a great plus and there is an excellent choice of teas & a coffee machine. Very comfortable bed. Very clean heated pool.

“Back again”

“Great to be back”
Same time, same place, another year on. As before - outstanding. If you are going to tour France as we are, this place is perfect. It's a bed and breakfast, but with self-catering facilities - washer/ dryer, dishwasher, oven/hob, fridge freezer, everything you need. Delicious breakfast, lovely pool area and hosts who can't do enough for you.

“A great place to relax and enjoy the region!”
We had a great stay! Our room was big, very clean and comfortable. The owner is very welcoming and will give you tips and recommendations. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. The gardens are well maintained and the pool is a great addition. They are allowing you to use a kitchen and a living room and prepare your dinner there.

We loved our 3-night stay at Domaine la Bastide! The accommodation was beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Having a washer/dryer was very welcome after being on a week-long cruise. We found the location to be excellent since we wanted to visit the area of both the Garonne and Dordogne rivers. The host was very helpful in giving suggestions. The domaine is located in a rural, quiet area, which is exactly what we like. Would not hesitate at all to stay here again.

Fantastic country residence with beautiful surrounding vineyards. Christian and his wife were fabulous hosts with a wealth of knowledge and gave us lots of recommendations, places to eat, visit etc. Our bedroom was lovely and spacious with tasteful interior design. Breakfast was served every morning. The fresh bread and fruit were delicious.! The outdoor pool was lovely and refreshing. Both the garden and pool were well maintained and exceptionally clean.

“Hidden gem of Bordeaux”
This place is a little heaven on Earth. Calm, in the middle of vineyards, with beautiful pool and gardens and with the most kind and welcoming hosts. I would be happy to come back one day.
