Friendly and accommodating staff. Such comfortable beds. Views that will blow your mind. A wonderful atmosphere. Great hiking trails that are well marked. We stayed in the Earth house (11 sleeper) and the size was great. We went for a 30th birthday, and although this is definitely not a party destination, they accommodated us when we got a little noisy and let us know when to keep it down while still understanding that we were our celebrating. We brought a small dog who can be a bit scared, but the other dogs on the property were so gentle and good natured that our puppy wanted to stay. All staff on the property were more than happy to answer any questions we had. They also delivered wood and ice that we could pay for at the end of our stay. It is a visit you won't forget and will want to go back to.

We enjoyed being together as a family and the surrounding scenery was beautiful.

The old Mill drift farm was an excellent location. Great hiking in the hills behind it. The dirt track would be challenging for small cars. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Be sure to take all your rations with you. There is nothing in the local vacinity. Beds were comfortable. Showers were hot and drenching.

The location was excellent as the guest farm is situated in a beautiful mountainous area with lovely hiking trails and even a lovely rock pool in which we enjoyed a swim.

The property is breathtaking and the hikes are unbelievable and very well marked with the most beautiful views. There is a crystal clear spring Rockpool in the poplar forest, which is just the best after a long day of hiking. There is a fenced area around the front garden, so it is perfect if you want to bring your dog. The horses, geese and donkeys are wonderful to watch. There is a river that runs along the property with Lesotho huts just across from the river. I will come back to this property. There was so much to do and see. A weekend was definitely too short.

Great location, quiet and peaceful. We had a "cottage" which was great for a couple. Fireplace inside, bathtub and outside area with braai. Everything was clean.

This place is well worth the heading off the main drag for. We only had a very quick one-night stop and I so wish we had had longer to explore. Derek was incredibly welcoming and helpful, the accommodation was lovely and the setting is incredible. We got there just in time for a swim in the natural forest pool before the sun went down and hope to come back to explore the hiking trails one day. The road is rough but this was made clear at the the start and is worth it to reach this gem.
