The cottages have a vibrant gypsy-boho feel, filled with colour, layered textures, cozy cushions, rugs, and quirky details. It has an artistic charm that makes it feel unique and far more interesting than a typical guesthouse. And our vehicle was washed after the first two days of rain...

“A Truly Memorable Stay at Gypse Life Clarens.”
From the moment we arrived, Shane made us feel incredibly welcome. His hospitality turned our stay into something truly special—a beautiful experience to share with my wife. Not once did we feel like guests; it felt like coming home. A small incident occurred when I accidentally bumped the gate off its railing while reversing. Shane, being the gracious host that he is, handled it with such kindness and calm. He was more concerned about whether our car was okay than the gate itself. Thankfully, there was no damage, and he helped realign the gate without any fuss, putting us completely at ease. It’s rare to find such genuine care and warmth. Thank you, Shane, for making our time at Gypse Life Clarens unforgettable.

Friendly staff, nice place. With our sport vehicles the small dirt road is not so nice. In future we will rather use a bakkie or SUV

“Beautiful and quant. Customer service was excellent.”
Shane kept in touch all the time. Gave us great information of everything there is to do in the area. Every day they loaded the basket with wood to light the fire. The staff were amazing. The room was very comfortable and the whole place is beautifully decorated. Will definitely be back!
