Janet was an extremely welcoming and accommodating host! I was at Collie Cottage for 10 days, staying on my own. The property location is truly superb - scenic, quiet and walking distance to the pristine hiking and walking trails Clarens has on offer. I felt safe as a woman alone. Janet's cats are also a welcome treat too, really loved having them visit the cottage during my stay.

Great place to unwind and explore Clarens from. Chairs and bed extremely comfortable. Loved the loft bedroom, just go up and down the stairs facing the same way.

It Had what I needed for the week’s stay. Although I only did basic cooking there. It was a convenient location and beautiful. I felt safe and secure as a solo traveller. Janet was welcoming and helpful and responded promptly to the communications.

Janet is a very kind host. The little touches in the cottage made it a very easy stay. I am a solo traveler and I felt right at home.

Lovely property with a beautiful garden. Great outdoor seating area to braai and relax. The accommodation is homely, tasteful, and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great night’s sleep. The owner is kind, welcoming, and always pleasant to assist. A wonderful stay, highly recommended.
