The beds were comfy. The open living space and large folding doors provide a comfortable living space. The view from the property is amazing.

When you leave the comfort of your home to holiday, it's always scary booking places you haven't been to. Clarens Escape has a modern feel to a picture-perfect view. Parking is at the doorstep, over all cleaness. Easy self check in. We felt like we needed an extra day of 2 at the venue. It's definitely worth the cent.

The location was just a few meters from the hub of clarens. The balcony and the nice view of mountains. The bedrooms were separated so nice.

Spacious and clean, with a large patio and beautiful mountain views. Kitchen reasonably well equipped, but could do with a cutting board. Within walking distance to one of the entrances of the Clarens Conservancy. If you are in a wheelchair/have trouble with stairs - there are none, so would help a lot for those people.

I went as a single parent with her daughter, the place felt cozy (but with more than enough space) it felt safe and everything I needed was within reach. The views is exceptional. The host is friendly and accommodating. And it is work friendly, wifi is included.

We had such a lovely overnight stay at this charming spot in Clarens. It was the perfect base for myself and my daughters ahead of our hiking in the Golden Gate are. The home is cozy — the fireplace added such a warm and inviting atmosphere and the electric blankets were a wonderful touch for the chilly night. The sunset from the balcony was absolutely breathtaking — a memory we’ll hold on to for a long time. Everything in the place was in great working condition, and it was clear that a lot of care has gone into keeping it well-maintained. We were also impressed by the JoJo tanks on the property, providing solid backup water — a reassuring feature. Overall, this stay ticked all the boxes: peaceful, comfortable, and practical. We’ll definitely be back soon, and next time I’ll be bringing my husband to enjoy it too!

Clarens Escape offered every comfort one could possibly need. The furnishings were lovely and the beds so comfortable. The electric blankets and fire were a bonus in the chilly weather. The views from the deck were spectacular.

Location was exceptional, on our arrival we were met by the beautiful house that invites the view of the occupier, my daughter was exhilirated by the nice view over the the Location and just said wow

It was great to have stayed here. We booked one night but quickly extended it. The house feels like home, and the surroundings are superb for good hikes. The house is equipped with all you need, kitchen and with a good shower (and pressure!). Clear and good communication with the owners. Would absolute recommend this place.
