Plenty of space, everything you’d need is available. Great location and the host is great. We’ve stayed a few times and very happy every time.

Photos of property on Booking.,com don't do it justice. The property is very easy for someone in a wheelchair to access, particularly with the bedroom and ensuite downstairs. Lots of room to manoeuvre the wheelchair in kitchen. Double doors into living room from kitchen also great for wheelchair user. Lots of room to park the wheelchair too.

Beautiful, comfortable, spotlessly clean. A home away from home. The added touch of milk, tea, coffee etc, fruit and gorgeous homemade bus on arrival set the tone for a relaxing stay. The animals on site were an added bonus, such fun to watch. Oonly a few mins drive to Kilrush. Great host.

Everything, comfortable warm clean, kids loved feeding the animals, the location was quite and peaceful. Within an hour and a half of all the main attractions clare has to offer. Also the ferry port across the shannon was only a 10-minute drive so kerry was easily accessible. I'd like to keep this place secret as the more people that learn about it..the harder it will be to get a booking. Kevin was a total gentleman and very helpful. I will be returning here when visiting clare again.

Beautiful house and surroundings. Everything you might need. Very spacious. Horses and animals outside were delightful.

Such a beautiful house, in a beautiful part of Ireland. The owners really did go above and beyond.. showing us the horses, donkeys, and goats. Also telling us beautiful places to visit. The house it's self was faultless! Will definitely be booking again!

Everything was very nice. The host was very nice and responsive. Answered all the questions that arose during the visit. There were treats and a folder with important and useful information left in the cottage. The house had everything we needed. We only bought some little things ourselves. We felt at home. We would definitely like to come back. We are grateful for how well the host had created a description of the cottage on booking.com so that we could make the right choice and be happy with it! Although the cottage and the surroundings looked and felt much better in real life than in the pictures :):):)

“A little piece of heaven”

the location of the house is very good, you are in Kilrush in no time, there are shops, petrol stations, pharmacy and takeaways right on site - 5 min drive max. you are not far from beautiful destinations, apart from the super nice road trips which are very scenic. The house itself is in a lovely quiet location, the house and its surroundings are a gem. A little piece of heaven that Kevin has created there. The kitchen is superbly equipped, the beds are very comfortable, the bathrooms spotlessly clean. We felt absolutely comfortable and at home in this house for 9 days. it really is a little piece of heaven that takes you away from everyday life. The mini ponies, the horse, the donkeys and the goats... It was simply a dream. If we could have, we would have stayed even longer <3

Joe's cottage is a really great spot! The house is very comfortable and has everything you could want and more, including a well equipped kitchen and utility room, comfortable beds, great views and some friendly resident goats, ponies and donkeys. It is close to Kilrush and is a great base for seeing more of this beautiful corner of the world. Lots of excellent places to eat nearby. Kevin was a very helpful and friendly host at all points before and during our stay. Would hope to visit again.

Joe's cottage is all you could expect from a holiday home and more! We loved our stay here! Would highly recommend!

Spacious, open and clean. Ideal for family- we were two Adults and three children. Loads of room for togetherness and space if needed.

“Clean and comfortable”

The whole house was very clean. Good facilities including a dishwasher, washing machine and comfy bed and couches. They left lovely gifts left for us (homemade scones, butter and fresh fruit). Lots of space in the house and to park outside. Kilrush is a nice town

The cottage is fabulous, beautiful views, bright and warm with everything you would need for a relaxing holiday. The kids loved meeting and feeding the goats and the ponies too. Definitely somewhere we will return to again
