Lovely location with hospitable hosts and delicious home grown and home cooked breakfast and dinner. Lorella and the team really ensure one enjoys their time at Podere Le Volte. The rooms were beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. We had a lovely mezzanine the kids could sleep in, giving them their own space. Driving distance to the nearby town of Sienna and Arezzo. The grounds were beautiful and guests were invited to explore the olive groves and vineyard.

Really stunning property nestled into the Tuscan hillside. Veronica and Lorella looked after us and made us feel welcome in the home and cooked amazing food. One of the nicest pool areas of any hotel we’ve ever stayed in

We were fortunate to spend three nights at this stunning property. The highlights were the incredible hosts, Lorella, Veronica, and Florio, who offered exceptional service and delicious food, always going above and beyond. We highly recommend dining at the property; the home-cooked Italian dishes are outstanding, and the tiramisu and ice cream are the best I've ever tasted. Relaxing by the pool under the beautiful gazebos was truly peaceful. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Truly a place and experience we will never forget.

Absolute dream of an Agriturismo. We had an absolutely wonderful stay and loved the family Lorella, Veronica and Florio. They made us feel so welcome. We also loved the pool area more than anything else during the stay. The rooms are so lovely and cozy.

This place is just amazing. Veronica and her family take care of their guests so kindly. Their homemade food is delicious (also a variety of vegetarian options). The pool area and the garden are beautiful places to hang out. The room is spacious and very clean. Veronica even organised an Ebike tour in Cortona for us which was fun. We would love to come back!

The week we spent in House La Mita was wonderful. The property is beautiful, the views immediately take you over. Very quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The pool and view from the pool is unreal. Like out of a movie scene. The breakfast setup was fabulous and the homemade dinner was amazing. The rooms had a Tuscan charm to them and were very clean. They had the bed set up nicely for our two year old. We loved our stay!

“Nice and calm place with a great view”

The breakfast was excellent, the landlady is very helpful and gathers any information you might be interested in. There was also a family with a handicapped child and they were fully welcoming and supportive to this family. The house is a bit remote, therefore it is very calm. As there are only five rooms, there is enough space for all guests. From every spot of the property you have a nice view into the hills of Tuscany. From the front side you look directly towards the little village of Civitella with its castle.

This country house went above and beyond our expectations. One of the nicest places we've actually stayed, ever. The staff is phenomenal and the meals are great, we received our own spread that was laid out and ready for us for breakfast. I could spend forever talking about all of the amazing things but I'll keep it short and just say you will not regret booking this place.

If you are looking for a unique place to stay in Tuscany, you should definitely visit Podere Le Volte Country House La Mita. Everything absolutely exceeded our expectations. The country house is run with great love by the most amazing and kindest hosts. It is located in a fairy-tale like location, immersed in greenery and in the midst of numerous species of plants and trees in its huge garden, with flowers and bushes of various fragrances and with a magnificent view of Civitella in Val di Chiana and the surrounding hills. The stunning pool area at the property invited us to sit there, take a deep breath and enjoy the tranquility of this incredibly beautiful and peaceful oasis. The house is tastefully furnished and our bedroom was well equipped, with great air condition and a very cozy bed. Breakfast is served in a beautiful room with homemade breads, cakes, and jams. The dinners were an absolute highlight with the most delicious local food prepared with great love by Lorella, including homemade pasta and ice cream. We want to thank Lorella, her husband Florio, and their daughter Veronica for their kindness and hospitality. They are very genuine and are the most warm-hearted and helpful hosts we have ever had the pleasure to meet. We have travelled internationally quite a lot for many years and have never felt as comfortable and warmly welcome anywhere as we did at Podere Le Volte Country House La Mita by Lorella and her family. They created an incredible atmosphere of coziness and comfort for us and we felt like visiting old friends. It was our first stay there and we will come back again for sure! Our dog Una is already missing Florio. 😊

“Excellent, unforgettable”

In sum: unbeatable, unforgettable. Ten minutes from the rush of the highway, we (2 adults and our 10 years old daughter) found ourselves on the top of a hillock with a 360-degree panorama of an ancient city (Civitella in Val de Chiana) and the unending forest covering a chain of hills. Silence and peace and the touch of a permanent, gentle breeze. Olive trees, a vineyard, a perfectly managed natural area around a typical Tuscan farmhouse, which history, by the way, goes back to the distance of 1000 years. Every detail outside and inside the house is perfectly manufactured and paired with a caring and warm attitude characterizing the owners, Veronica, Lorenzo and the parents. The four of them, as a team had looked after us for five days with so much attention, that exclusively a family member would deserve. Daytime, following a perfect breakfast we lazed around and in the pool or visited some gorgeous destinations nearby (Siena, Civitella, Arezzo). In the evenings surrounded by the lights of the sunset, we enjoyed the traditional Tuscan cuisine and wines, presented by our hosts. Our room and the house are furnitured with traditionally designed items completely satisfying all of the current, modern requirements (WiFi, air-conditioning, etc.). Comfortable, clean, homelike and professional at the same time. We managed to have rest in a way we have seldomly experienced. With the feeling of a special bond we found it really difficult to say "Arrividerci"!
