“Beautiful”
We loved being at the heart of the town in an historic building; a good breakfast was left in the room for us; there were instructions to get in but the host Max met us anyway and showed us around.

The views from our room were exceptional to the vast Valdarno. The place was clean and felt homely and the staff was very friendly and helped us when needed. Ideal for a few days but not long stays.

This is one of the best locations we ever stayed. Historical site with amazing view. A little bit outside the city so you need a car but so calm, its definitely worth it.

“The best of both rural and little town getaway!”
Everything was simply amazing! The location at the market square of a miniature mountain top Tuscan borgo, with breathtaking views over the valleys below and hills in the distance will make you want to stare for hours on end. Beautiful, stylish rooms, comfortable beds, and NORTHERN EUROPEAN breakfast tastes catered too, so you receive not just a typical Italian biscuit and coffee, but some tasty bread, cheese spread and mortadella too. Max, the owner, is a great host and the lady who helps him running it, who’s name we have unfortunately forgotten, will give you great tips where to go and what to visit. Plus: we were invited to a tratitional annual local community feast La Cena Propiziatoria del Sarapino (held in June) held just below our windows! A Tuscan communal dolce vita at it’s very best! We’ll be back!

A beautiful nest in a romantic ancient palace. The bathroom is fabulous. If you like take some time to read by holidays.. The library available in the bedrooms in rich and good selected. Nice view on the Tuscany panorama

“Noble and quiet place”
The place is a beautifully refurbished old Palazzo, decorated with really good taste. The quiet surroundings were perfect. It's a really good choice to explore the area around (1h to Siena/ Firenze). The village is really small, there was no shop or restaurant opened. This did not bother us, we adored the unusual silence, but it's useful to know.

“Absolutely adorable find.”
The accommodation was absolutely lovely. A quaint walled village with friendly locals. The building itself was old and very interesting, with an 1800s staircase! Beautiful antique furniture. So much history inside and out. The village had a museum, which was heart breaking. Throughout the village and ruins, there was information boards detailing all the suffering that had gone before. The whole experience was awesome. A fabulous find. With eateries and bar. Staying in this beautiful building was like living a locals life, sorry we had a deadline and only had 1 night.
