I was greeted by a lovely young man, Josep.. He took me to my room at the very top of the old building and then down to the ground floor where he showed me the kitchen, living room, and lovely private patio. I think the hotel only has 5 rooms. My room was bright, small, quaint and charming with a lovely terrace. There was a walk-in closet and a nice clean bathroom. I especially appreciated the heater on the wall, given that it was chilly outside. The electric kettle, refrigerator, stove top, and toaster oven were all 3 floors down in the shared kitchen. The location of the hotel in the old section of Ciutadella is perfect.

This place is a true little gem tucked away in Ciutadella’s old town. It feels more like staying in a thoughtfully curated Airbnb than a hotel, with cooking and laundry facilities, a communal living room, and a charming patio. Guests can help themselves to coffee and a lovely selection of loose-leaf teas, adding to the relaxed, homely vibe. The location couldn’t be better—right behind the stunning cathedral, with all of Ciutadella’s best sights, shops, and restaurants just steps away. The owner has really thought of everything, from beach sarongs and parasols to handy cooler backpacks, making days out by the sea effortless. My room was cleverly designed, with a spacious feel and even a bath, which was a real treat. It also seems to draw a wonderful crowd; every guest I met during my stay was warm and friendly. I would absolutely recommend HoMe and will definitely be returning the next time I’m on the island. Thank you, Josep—hope to see you again soon!

“Lovely guest house in the heart of Cuitadella”

The kitchen so we could make our own meals before relaxing in the outside courtyard. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. The house was well renovated and homely. Location in the old town was convenient for getting around.

Locationwise, it can't get any better. Everything is in walking distance. Also the building itself and the small inner yard were really cozy and beautiful. The staff was nice and helpful. Wifi was really working amazing. Remote working was no issue. You have umbrellas and beach towels you can take and the breakfast looked delicious. We didn't book it though but we recommend taking it 😅

Beautiful old building in the heart of the city. Great location, friendly and helpful staff/owner. Great breakfast. The shared kitchen was a great idea for making picnics, cool bags etc. Towels and umbrellas were available for the beach. Comfy sitting area. It really did feel like a gorgeous home in Ciutadella.
