“A truly lovely place to celebrate our friends birthday”
Magdalena our host was fantastic. Lots of information about places to eat, walks etc. Very welcoming. The hotel is beautifully restored. Location couldnt be more central. The breakfast choices were excellent. We only came for one night from the other end of the island as we live here but we have recommended to all our friends.

“Absolutely not worth the money. Nothing more than a room (with only intermittent hot water!)”
The whole stay we saw three members of staff- they were all very lovely and competent- but were busy running the whole hotel. The reception desk was often unmanned as they were busy doing other things.

“Exceptional service, but the hotel needs maintenance”
The service was the highlight for us, as well as the breakfast and how accommodating all of the staff was with our needs. They were the best part of our stay. Thank you so much for everything that you did for us. The location was fantastic too.

This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful part of the old town. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The hotel is small, only 8 rooms. The hotel is nicely decorated. We had a terrace area that opened to a courtyard with the pool below. Overall this is a charming hotel in the beautiful old town, but it was expensive for what it was.

We had an exceptional stay at Can Araya and loved this beautiful hotel to base ourselves at to visit Menorca. It's in an excellent location in the lovely Ciutadella, fantastic breakfasts, with a large and very comfortable room. However more than anything it was the extremely friendly and helpful staff who made our stay so easy, helping us with advice around car and bike rentals, travel on public and bookable transport, hospital information when needed last minute and connections to the airport. The whole staff team really went out of their way to make things easy and help us when needed and we couldn't recommend this hotel as a place to visit highly enough. Thank you for a great holiday!

Beautiful property in an excellent location. We were given a warm welcome and felt very much at home. Lovely small pool for a refreshing dip. Super breakfast. Great local knowledge. We would love to return one day and will definitely be recommending to friends
