I would give a 12 out of 10 if I could! Patricia is the most loving host, is always there for you and made my stay with her unforgettable. She would even have lent me her bike if I wanted to. The room and bathroom are very spacious, spottlessly clean and there was a lot of love put into decorating the house. The huge garden and the pool were an oasis in the hot Mendoza weather. And the bowl of fresh fruit that was part of the breakfast…I was in heaven, cause you don‘t get a lot of fresh fruit here in Argentina, most breakfasts consist of bread / sweet stuff only. The property is easily reachable by bus. There are a lot of bus stations all around (I didn‘t have a car and it was no problem at all), a few restaurants right in front of the house and a large, very nice supermarket within 15 min walking distance. Also a large network of cycling routes to get around the area. Would definitely stay here again!

Where do we start?! Firstly, it was absolutely beautiful. The grounds were perfectly kept and go on and on, allowing for lovely little strolls around the property. The pool was spacious and super clean and we mostly had it to ourselves. The rooms were big, with a lovely design, fantastic AC and warm showers and our most comfortable bed in South America. Finally, Patricia our wonderful host look after us from beginning to end. She has a gorgeous dog Matilda, and a lovely family - who even invited us to dine with them one afternoon - traditional Argentinian asado meat, red wine and fernet branca. If you are staying in Mendoza please do come and stay with Patricia, it’s wonderful!

“Just like beeing on a private visit”

It felt just like a private visit😊 We felt so welcome in this beatifull place away from the hustle❤️ Rooms were clean, bed large, huge garden to relax after a full day of activities. Bus to Mendoza and Chacras de coria just outside the house made it easy for us to move around as we didn't rent a car. Patricia is a wonderfull host and made us feel home, helped with activities and made great brekfast.... and speaks english. Perfect base for a vacation to Mendoza area.

“Great place, to finish your trip in Argentina”

Ok it's bit pricey, but the place is worth the money, after spending some days travelling in a budget hotels. The architecture of the rooms reminds the old, after colonial times. The rooms also are clean and the bed lovely. The bus stop is just a minute walk, restaurants 5-8 minutes, and the most important, wineries up to 50-60 minutes on foot.

This is a great place to relax with a big garden. It's closeby a shopping mall. Staff was friendly and let me check in early. The style of the house is a bit vintage.

“Home from home!”

We’ve been travelling in Argentina for 6 weeks and Quinta Ugarte was definitely our favourite place we stayed throughout our trip. The location is great, the garden is so beautiful and relaxing that it just felt like a home from home. Above all though, the staff made our stay. Patricia, the owner, helped us book activities; Mariano taught us how to do an asado one evening and we ate together with a group of guests and Kika always served breakfast with a smile. On our final day Patricia and Mariano helped organise for us to go rafting and Mariano personally drove us into the mountains, showed us some of his favourite places and even stopped en route back and rented horses so we could experience horseback riding in the Andes! Absolutely magical place run by people with hearts of gold. Couldn’t recommend highly enough. Thank you all, we home to come back one day!
