The kitchen was good, the air-conditioning in the room was pleasant, internet in the common area work well (in the room a bit unsteady) generally the place it's acceptable, you get what you paid for. Location is easily accessible by local bus, it seemed safe. There's a good supermarket near by. And

“Best spot in Ciudad del este”
The owner is super nice. Large courtyard, and friendly vibes. Rooms are well air conditioned and mine even had a toilet attached. Supermarket and Bus terminal very close. Free coffee, and large fridge, double sinks for dishes.

“Comfortable stay”
Nice and quiet hostel with a nice outdoor area to sit, supermarket very nearby as well. The host speaks perfect English and able to give you suggestions/help with border crossing or anything you might need.

Really decent value private room near to a chilled mall with good coffee/food options! Silvia is a great host, really helpful and responsive to questions and everything. Great advice about the boat rather than the bus! You can walk to the lake from here and take a short taxi to the Monday Falls and Tres Fronteras (boat to Argentina)

Good location, walking distance to bus stops to reach all attractions. Short taxi ride to the border. The host was welcoming and very helpful. The hostel is set in a huge property and has hot water and a kitchen dining area.
