Overview
Relais Castelluccio Palusse has a beautiful, hilltop setting just outside Città della Pieve. It offers a garden with 6-person hot tub, a seasonal outdoor pool and classically furnished guest rooms. Once a noble residence, this unique property dates back to the early 19th century. It is surrounded by a large private park. The Castelluccio Palusse Relais has been carefully restored to preserve many of its original features. The grand entrances lead you to the many lounges and halls; including the dining hall. The Citroniére Wellness Centre includes a Finnish sauna and Turkish bath. Massages and beauty treatments are also available on request. The hotel is just a 10-minute walk from the centre of Città della Pieve and is easily reached from the A1 motorway.

A glorious find - like staying with family but better! The guys that run it are friendly, happy and truly go above and beyond. It was quiet and peaceful, very close to the town. They booked the perfect dinners for us and even helped my colleague with a computer mouse. Truly, the perfect hosts

It is a gorgeous castle set in the Umbrian countryside. The pool was delightful and the room was well sized and included a balcony, perfect for late drinks overlooking the hills.

The enthusiastic owners Katia and Alessandro went through great lengths to make our stay as wonderful as possible and with effect! So besides the beautifully located castle we were pampered all day. Breakfast was extensive and dinner wonderful, with some great wines too! Our room wasvlarge and wonderful, but in fact the entire place is lovely. More than recommended. The town is also worth a few visits!

The welcome you get from Katia is second to none . You are made to feel like part of the family. Location is fantastic with just a 10 minute walk into the lovely town of Citta Della Pieve. Food was very nice too. Nice large room.

“Ideal base fro Umbria”
Only a 10 minute walk from a wonderful town centre. Property was beautiful , full of period character and history, with a great room that had lovely views. Breakfast table was great, especially the wonderful array of cakes made by Nona. Katya, our host, was always helpful and cheerful and made the Relais feel like a ‘home from home’. All in all a great location to explore Assisi, Montepulciano, Orvieto etc,

“A warm welcome in a fascinating building in a great location”
We had a lovely welcome from Katia, who speaks great English and was always helpful. The hotel is a charming building, with just a few rooms and a very personal welcome. The bed and room was very comfortable, we had a balcony with a view out to the hills. The breakfast featured home made cakes. The walled town of Citta is a short walk away and has very well cared for ancient buildings with history, art, some great restaurants and independent shops (and not too many tourists). The location is close to the beautiful Lake Trasimeno and its attractive towns and boat trips
