“Tranquility, comfort and great company.”
We were looking for a relaxing break, and Podere Umbro provided the ideal tranquillity. The hosts, Shirley and Stefano (and dogs, Stanley & Charlie) were so warm and friendly and made this a true second home. The large apartment was fantastic; homely, well equipped and spotlessly clean. There was lots of shade under our porch, which was a beautiful spot for breakfast and an evening glass of wine. The pool was lovely in the heat, with great views across the valley and plenty of shade provided. Although in a rural area, the local town, Citta della Pieve (5mins) offered great restaurants, without being touristy. On the Tuscany/Umbria border, there were plenty of places to explore including Orvieto, Lake Trasimeno and Perugia. We loved this farm and the fantastic company.

The place is amazing, beautiful and the most comfortable, but it is Shirley and Stefano who make this place unforgettable, cosy, where you make yourself at home. We spent two absolutely wonderful weeks and I have no words to say thank you to them both. The house is equipped with everything you need, the views are breathtaking, the swimming pool is the place where you feel like a hollywood star :) I wish I could stay there forever <3

“The best accommodation we've ever had in Italy!!!”
The house is located near a fabulous small town on a peaceful farm with gorgeous views to the Umbrian/Tuscan mountains. Although there are more apartments in the house, you get enough space and privacy. The interior design is cosy and offers you everything you have imagined about a country home in Italy. The pool is great, especially if you arrive back from a day-trip (there are a LOT of options to choose from). Shirley and Stefano are the best hosts we've ever met who are always around, so you can never feel abandoned. The peacefulness of this place is priceless.

“A perfect getaway in Italy’s nature, calm & breathtaking views”
This stay was absolutely lovely! Beautiful house in the middle of the nature. The pool has a breathtaking view, such as our terrace. It is so peaceful and quiet, you are practically alone. Everything is clean and the kitchen is well equipped. We stayed in the bigger apartment with 4 adults, it was spacious. Special thanks to Stefano & Shirley for their warm welcome and good recommendations! We would definitely come back!

“See above it says it all”
Everything was absolutely amazing the venue close to the most beautiful Citta Della Pieve. Shirley and Stefano are such excellent hosts along with the “fur kids” Charlie and Stanley….. I feel like they are friends now. The farm house had everything for an amazing stay and we just loved it so much. The views across the countryside to die for a magnificent pool and other facilities to make the holiday just magical… I’d highly recommend the place in a heart beat… Thanks so much for for making our holiday so memorable… Best love and hugs Nick and Jo

Podere Umbro is situated in the beautiful countryside near Citta dela Pieve : so you have the beauty of Nature and Culture a few minutes driving from one another . lovely combination ! The view from the appartement trough the windows is fabulous as the view from the swimming pool : overlooking the whole valley . And … perhaps the most important: Shirley abd Stefano are both excellent hosts ! The large view 360 degrees is a perfect symbol for their international and open minded mindset … We will come back as soon as possible Shirley and Stefano ! Els and Chris 💚❤️💚
