“A perfect bed + breakfast!”
A really nice, well designed residence - much of it in a converted barn. The facilities were extremely good - a large TV/games lounge which included a full size pool table. There was even a spa area - where towels/dressing gowns were provided. The room was very pleasant - decorated in an oriental style. The hosts were extremely friendly - but also very professional and efficient. The breakfast was a very relaxed affair with a good choice and amount (in essence as much as you wanted) of items. The evening meal was extremely good - we had restaurant quality duck breast + dauphinois potatoes then a choice of desserts or cheese. It was all very well done and presented. For €19 each (including wine, water + coffee) it could not be beaten. The views from the property (it sits above the torn and has particularly large windows in the eating area) is very good indeed. The town is worth walking to - there is a very old section near the church, reached by quite ornate steps.
