Just spend couple of days and nights on the terrace, it worth the whole trip

Breakfast was simple but good and taken on a terrace with a great view over the ocean. The location is perfect in Cidade Velha, close to the restaurants and the centre of this village. If you are lucky you can park on the property, directly outside. Kira was lovely and very helpful.

Very nice location with amazing views. Kira is very nice and our room was very good. We loved the vibes in the village and there are plenty of restaurants to choose from.

“Restful, culinarily interesting and delightful, perfect location from which to explore Santiago”

We had planned to check out the breakfast and then not have it all days. In the end we only skipped one day (because of early traveling). It was a great experience to have all Kira's lovely Cabo Verdian breakfasts with the view of the waves of the Atlantic crashes on the rocks beneath the guest house. It was also nice to chat with the other guests at breakfast, where we exchanged tips of what to see and where to eat. On future visits to Santiago, we will definitely also return to Kira.

The view of the terrace is fantastic, right at the sea, it’s great feeling to fall asleep at sound of waves. The location is perfect just close to everything in cidade velha. It’s a great base to visit Santiago for a few days. The breakfast was nice and the host was attentive.

Hidden gem! Really a spectacular view of Cidade Velha. Location is a 2 min walk to the beach and the restaurants. Kira is very kind en supportive, and she and another woman speak proper English. Kira even helped us with the local transport (Aluguer) back to Praia. Definitely worth your money. We didn't take the offered breakfast but should have because it looked better than we had at the restaurants near the beach.

Makes a huge difference when you r traveling and suddenly u feel like u r part of a community, u get invited for local events, etc. Kira is a very relaxed very nice person, full of good energy! the location is perfect! Thanks!

The kindness of kira made the difference. The house was very clean, it was spacious and the terrace was very coazy.

Kira and her family are super helpful and nice. She makes a very great breakfast and the view is amazing. We also saw dolphins from the terrace. We already miss you Kira. Thank you for everything <3.

The best part of this stay was Kira (and her daughter). She is a great host that does her best for everybody to enjoy the stay. The varandas have a great sea view and breakfast is great. The rooms are fine. Cidade Velha is a charming place to stay at, close but at the same time far from the bustling city, Praia.

Everything we liked, Kira is so kind and helpful, she immediately puts you at ease in her house, our room was a great size and perfect for us Kiras house is amazing, what a gem, so peaceful falling to sleep listening to the waves and tinkling of the shells and the view is outstanding, we even saw a whale in the ocean Cidade Velha is a stones throw from Kiras house, down a road or steps and you are ocean front to the restaurants There's some lovely walks from the house including the old fort above We've only left a few hours ago and already missing the local life of cidade velha and Kiras house We will be back for sure for the relaxing way of life Thanks Kira Don't hesitate get booking

Breakfast was healthy with a million dollar view. Kira was an amazing host, she cooked a delicious dinner and we hang out with her friends singing some local music for us ☺️ she is just like a friend and we are already planning our next visit! The room was spacious, thanks to the mosquito net, i am not bitten a single time. Lastly, cidade velha is one of the most beautiful place in santiago.. i love that little village!

Kira is a great host, very helpfull and cheerfull. The apartment was super clean, we loved the ocean view from the bedroom and breakfasts on the terrace. The location in Cidade Velha is central, there is a space to leave the car.
