Staff, room and breakfast

Sergio, our host, was superb. From sending a text to ensure a personal arrival, to wishing us farewell the next day. Sergio met us on arrival and carried my case up the amazing staircase after explaining things about the establishment and surrounding areas. Sent us local places to eat and drink by text. Our room was fabulous and super comfortable. Small details go a long way! Even the spare toilet paper 🧻 was made into a flower 🌼 Although we had a thunderstorm during the night and a road outside, we both slept through it! Breakfast was served in the garden..the sun was shining and a warm day. Edu was very attentive. The local area was beautiful to visit. We will return and stay again when we are back in the area for a longer holiday. Thank you again.

Sergio is an exceptionally welcoming host, he arrived to welcome us at our exact time of arrival. The room was clean and perfect for our needs, with a comfortable bed and bath. The breakfast was also great, and served at the table in the beautiful garden.

The breakfast consist of toast, butter, marmalade, fresh orange juice, fruits and coffee. The host was very friendly and helpful.

Sergio and staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. The hotel is delightful and I would highly recommend a stay here. Onsite parking is available and a nice restaurant is attached. Breakfast is served in the garden on sunny days, and a shaded patio to relax in is available.

“Road noise from passing traffic was unbearable.”

We actually walked out of this place and checked into a hotel because the road noise was unbearable. The room was shaking from the passing traffic and there was no way we would have had any sleep. The property is right next to a main road, literally wall to road, and there was a constant stream of traffic racing past. The noise was unbearable. The host offered us a back room as a substitute, but said we couldn´t use the shower as it had just been grouted and wasn´t willing to give a discount. 70 euros and we couldn´t even have a wash. We left and spent a quiet night elsewhere but lost our money

“We would highly recommend this hotel!”

We just completed a 17 trip across Portugal, Spain and southern France. Posada Cicero was our absolute favorite place to stay. The location was just off the highway. The host was very congenial, informative and language was not a problem at all. Breakfast was served in a lovely garden (mid-September). The fruit was fresh, the pastries were still warm from the oven and very delicious. He offered a variety of juices and other drinks. Service was prompt and attentive to all our needs. The rooms were homey and comfortable. Parking was free and plentiful.

Sergio is a great host - very friendly and helpful. Our room (at the back) was peaceful and comfortable although I guess if you're a light sleeper a room at the front might be noisy as it's right next to a busy road. Simple but sufficient breakfast.
