Overview
On the Basque coast, perched on the Bordagain hill, Hotel Agur Deneri offers an unrivalled view over Saint Jean de Luz bay and the fishing ports. From the high terraces or balconies, you can watch the sea rolling in and out with the tides. Inspired by their Basque origins, and by the peaceful atmosphere of the surroundings, the owners have created a warm atmosphere in which to relax. Each of the hotel's 17 rooms is equipped with air-conditioning. The surrounding area is the perfect place to do the following activities : sailing, surfing, water-skiing, fishing and boat trips, canoeing and scuba diving, golf, tennis, clay pigeon shooting, parascending, hiking along the sea side paths. You may also want to visit old Ciboure and its historical sites and participate in the typical festivals.

“A good cheap stop over for a night”
We had a great view, staff were great, it was quiet, room was fine for a night. Within walking distance of the town, and it's quite an interesting and pleasant walk, plenty of restaurants there, although they are all Basque traditional clones - no cuisine choice at all. There is an excellent Carrefour hypermarked on the N side of town (drive there) which we used to give the van a good filling with Cidre Doux prior to our ferry home from Bilbao.

“Room with a lovely view and great location.”
This was a really lovely room with a harbour view. I loved the location in the Ciborne side of the river. It was quiet and in a great location to explore that side of the harbour and out to the fort on the sea wall. The room was very comfortable and clean. And the staff were very helpful and friendly. I really enjoyed my stay.

“Magnificent views from our upgraded room”
The high location gave superb views of the town, beach and sea. The upgraded room was well decorated with hand painted murals of the town’s architecture. The bed was comfortable and the balcony gave even better views.
