Everything was perfect! The house is clean, cosy and has everything you could need. It’s also possible to use the washer and dryer. The hosts are 10/10 - very friendly and helpful! We would definitely come back!

Best place to stay in Churchilll by far. The house was absolutely charming, well stocked with everything you need and more. We baked cookies one night without having to buy anything for it. Felt like we were right at home the instant we walked thru the door. Very accommodating and flexible to have access to the house with the train arrival and departure times. The shared accommodation makes the stay even more enjoyable as you get to share your experiences with other people and have great conversations. Thanks D and D from Victoria, you were awesome roommates! Great location, everything is within walking distance to the train station and all the tour operators. Thank you Gord and Lynn for providing such a beautiful place for visitors to stay and to enjoy the community and wonders of Churchilll!

Nicely renovated, very clean and every appliance you could want.

“Quiet location and great hosts”

The hosts were very accommodating, always friendly and wanting to help us enjoy our time. Drinks and home made cookies and cake were always on offer. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was different each day and always good and plenty of it.

Gord and Lynn were great hosts. Breakfast was excellent too.

“Welcome Home!”

From the moment I walked in, I felt like I'd arrived home, and after nearly 3 days in the train, that was just the feeling I was looking for. Lynn had already advised me there would be tea and coffee available for me to help myself, and when Kyle (her son) arrived home, I felt so relaxed and as though Of known him for years. Bear's Den is so beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable, and the layout design allows the energy to flow positively throughout. All the rooms, including the bathroom and kitchen, are spacious, with 'cosy toes' carpets in the bedrooms. Kyle went out of his way to include me in the local community and introduced me to Drew, who does the Northern Lights wait list. Not only that, but Kyle took me out sledding across frozen lakes at night through the Boreal Forest, where I had such fun and had an experience I'll never forget. I feel like I gained a younger brother in Kyle, and I honestly cannot recommend Bear's Den highly enough.

“Excellent guest house for a homely stay in Churchill”

It felt like home and we were made to be very welcome straight away, including being able to use the washing machine and left over food from the cupboards! The location was in the centre of town and very close to the beach, for whale spotting. We were lucky enough to have the guest house to ourselves but even sharing it with other guests would have been great. Excellent value for money when staying in Churchill.

I am so beyond thrilled to have found the Bear's Den Guest House in Churchill. My stay could not have been better. It offers everything, and more, than I could have thought of or wanted. Amazingly kind and helpful communication with Lynn before my stay, a really wonderful and helpful host (thanks Kyle!) and the ever-so-comfortable and cozy living spaces (I want those couches), and incredibly well-outfitted kitchen, perfect location for exploring the town and meeting locals, it also gave me the very special opportunity to, as much as is possible in just a visit, feel like a part of this great community. A true home away from home. I just hope it's available whenever I come back. And return I definitely will. Thanks again!

I loved everything about this property. Gord was an exceptional host and he was very kind and generous. He cooked us an amazing breakfast (both mornings) and he allowed us to stay until our train arrived. They bed was very comfortable and it felt like a very homely stay. Everything was immaculate condition and it couldn’t have been cleaner. Well done Lynn&Gord
