Close to the airport, kind staff, good breakfast. It is safe, one person opens the gate all the time. You can go to Stone Town by the 509 Chukwani bus.

“Peaceful quiet stay within a short commute to Stone Town.”
The location is about a 2 kilometer walk from the St. Mary's school ruins. It is in a very quiet neighborhood, except for the daily matches of football (soccer) on the pitch right outside the compound, but that is during the day. It was not at all a distraction. There is a small shopping mall being built with an adequate store 1.2 kilometers away. I like to walk so it was fine. The compound is kept locked and is secure. The guy who works nights speaks English well and has a good attitude. The lady who makes breakfast is also friendly. The room was adequate. The driver for a tok tok was overly safe, on time, and fair priced. I would recommend him and I used him about seven times.

Very friendly hostel hosts, very helpful, for example Khamid showed me the ATM and tought me some Suaheli. The rooms were clean and very big. I felt safe and enjoyed my stay.

“Decent safe affordable airport hotel”
We booked this hotel because we arrived in the middle of the night and we had a flight later that day. It is very close to the airport and we got a very spacious room on the ground floor. As 2 women travellers , we felt very safe here. breakfast was basic but he omelette was very tasty. For a airport hotel it is perfect and very cheap.

Very close to the airport. We had fan, AC (though the control was missing, but we were told it's temporary) and even a balcony. There is a closed parking space.

“Avoid at any cost. Lies and misinformation won’t give you the room you paid for or even an ac remote control.”
They don’t give the AC remote and won’t even change it for you. The AC is set at 22 with lowest fan option. We were sweating cause the temperature outside is 32 degrees. I asked to speak the staff to speak to the manager. The staff are poor, they lie to you and tell you to wait until the manager arrives which will not happen. Also they won’t give you the room you pay for. They give you a less room. Worst place to stay. We booked to avoid travelling long distances to the airport and rest before a long journey home.

Really close to the airport, what was the reason of our stay there for a night. But not suitable for holiday accomodation. Accomodation managed dropp off to the airport for 10USD.

The people working there were super welcoming and friendly. I walked around the area to get Chipsmayay and met some nice people on the streets. As soon as you are speaking kiswahili a bit you will always find friends on sansibar. Asante sana James na Furaha :)
