“Lovely hotel and restaurant, classic and old feeling, but good for it.”
Excellent looking hotel and surroundings. Felt quite old and period, but classic. Very nice. The evening meal was very good.

I had previously booked into another hotel a few Km away, when I arrived a bit earlier than the time I had indicated and found the hotel closed. I was in the car park and phoned the hotel and was told someone would come out and see me! They apologised for not letting me know but that day was a holiday in Denmark! They directed me to this hotel and I can only thank them for making a room available to me as they were essentially fully booked!

Extremely charming old inn, in a fairy tale and UNESCO recognized village, with all modern facilities. Very convenient location as a way station when driving from the south of Europe to the north. The attic suite was very good indeed, and the spa bath just what was needed after a long drive. The restaurant is superb, and far exceeded our expectations - this was Michelin quality. Very pleasant and efficient staff.

“Lovely stay”

“A gem”
The property owned by a former marine cook, invites all clients to relax and enjoy of the nice décor, spacious rooms, and large green surroundings. It is in fact a gem, in -Christiansfeld. The attention dose not stop there. The restaurant is well decorated, and dishes offered are unique, tasteful setting and excellent dishes to enjoy a marvelous dinner. Wine menu is large and international. We really enjoy it. Excellent service and attention!

“One night stop on road trip”
Cbosen initially for ease of location off the main highway. I didn't want to risk potential town centre complications after such a long journey. Initial approach with that large flag was so appreciated, such a pleasant forecourt and easy parking too. Reception was so simple and again welcoming. Had a fantastic meal, guided by the staff as to what each dish was. Relaxed outdoors later. My room was beautiful, although I didn't make the most of it as I was leaving early the next morning. I checked and was advised a kitchen staff member could check me out and that worked perfectly.
