A very comfortable cottage with integral garage for guests to use, and very welcoming hosts. Well equipped kitchen and the outdoor seating, together with use of the indoor swimming pool made for a great stay. Although joined by a corridor to the owner's house, our privacy was respected. We will be back for another visit.

It was close to my family who I had come down to Christchurch to see. It was quiet and a lovely sanctuary away from screaming children and barking dogs at the end of each day.

The Meadows is more than dog friendly. It was a home away from home for our little guy. And Judy and Bruce are welcoming, very friendly hosts. They very kindly share their whole property with their guests. Thank you both, our stay was so relaxing.

“Lovely Country Retreat”

Beautiful and peaceful property with outside of Christchurch. Two-bedroom house in a rural setting is spacious, comfortable and clean. Kitchenette is nicely equipped, and laundry facilities are a real bonus. Lovely garden views and the birdsong in the morning is especially pleasant. Bed is quite comfortable with very high quality linens, pillows and towels.

Everything was clean and comfortable, the owners were very friendly and available when we needed them but also left us to ourselves when we didn't need them.

Lovely rural setting and well presented. Enjoyed some documentaries on Netflix.

The Meadows is exceptionally beautiful accommodation, immediately adjacent to the owner’s property but completely separate and private. The standard of the Meadows was far above and beyond anything we expected, essentially it is part of the owner’s home and provides the highest standard of comfort and luxury. The owners are on hand to resolve any slight issue but otherwise you are completely independent, I cannot speak highly enough of this property and consider myself very lucky to have found it. Even though it is a country property Christchurch is an easy 20 minute drive away.
