Excellent hosts, huge amount of room at house, private and secluded

It was great the amenities were everything we could want as a team of 11 women.  There were no complaints.  Beds were comfortable.  The kitchen  amenities were everything you could need as a large group.  There were plenty of large areas to hang out.  Or if you wanted quiet time you could just go to your room and relax.  Spires Barn is in a peaceful quiet rural area.  One of the best places our team has stayed at.  

Some of the lodge was looking a little tired. But perfect location and had all we needed for our stay with a team.

The accommodation was perfect for our family get together. We had struggled to find somewhere with the right bed configuration, but having 14 single beds worked so well. We were able to cook large meals easily, keep up with the washing and enjoy swims and the kids had plenty of space to kick a ball. If going in summer, we would recommend taking your own swimming towels just to save using the bath towels. Having multiple bathrooms was great! With a families, there was no congestion in the mornings. Its an easy drive to the city centre but there is a lot of facilities in the surrounding suburbs as well.

The lodge was warm and cosy with heaps of kitchen and lounge space. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. Our host was brilliant, meeting us on arrival and taking the time to show us around.

Perfect stay! We had such an amazing time. We were a large group with three little kiddies. Absolutely everything we needed for a wedding nearby. Kitchen was fully equipped, spacious lodge. Felt very comfortable and homely. So many rooms and bathrooms, excellent facilities and great location. The hosts were so lovely and so accommodating. Would definitely return! Thank you again for such an amazing stay.

We have stayed here before and the situation of the property suits our families needs really well, the size is brilliant and is able to cater for our whole family with a well stocked kitchen and some essentials in the pantry. The owners are so lovely and we feel very lucky to share their Oasis...

“Farm stay in Yaldhurst!”

Great hospitality from Brigette and Brooke. Such a special, beautiful place they have and what an experience for us. Our kids loved it, lots of space so we weren't in eachothers faces and the best part for them was the pool and biking around the farm. Thank you both for being so accommodating to our needs with parking our Stockcar trailer. Amazing hospitality 🙌

No breakfast but adequate kitchen facilities with all that was needed to create good meals for the group!

The cows and horses were a little bonus for our daughter. Close to The Football tournament just down the road. Friendly hosts. Love their dog Olly.

The house, grounds and owners were lovely, we had an amazing time here and would definitely return. There was so much space for the kids to roam and have fun. The house has a lot of space and we were well looked after. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was perfect. Thank you.
